I'm going to kick it like T R 1 B A L and not bother pissing around with text....
Anything I tried just looked like crap and ruined it.
    CnC would be appreciated.

Wow, alt, that's really good. The lighting I think is amazing. I don't really know what the orange side on the right of her is but it's kind of annoying. I don't see much wrong with it, good job.

Cheers Harped :) Good to see you again haha.
I spent WAY too much time on this... like over 5 hours. I started with a specific signature style in mind, then that just went out the window and it morphed into this. The orange thing on her right is part of her earring (I think), and then a clipping mask with a splatter brush duplicated the color and part of the image. I liked what it did to another section, and I think the rest of it was unavoidable, or I just didn't really think much of it <.<"

    Thanks for the feedback man!

It looks pretty cool, but def not your best. I don't like it when people (you usually don't) put a white brush with high opacity on it and don't change the layer style or anything. It just looks like crap, not lighting. But w/e.
Space stock looks cool, but I don't know.. something about it just doesn't fit me, haha.
    Anyways, 6/10.

    True....
Posted a V2, rectified the lighting problem. That section was kinda last minute when I realized I had no light-source, which I guess is why it was so crappy looking. Does it look better now?

I like it, I like the second one better, it has a nice yet light focal point, the girl blends nicely with the background and the abstract perspectives of the signature give it a nice touch. I think it would look better with light effect C4D's though (Not too many just some here an there).

So my signature style is pretty bland and unoriginal in that respect, but I was talking more about the inclusion of text in many signatures. So many people that post within the Graphics forum find it a necessity to place text within their work, quite commonly ruining their signature with poorly placed and shitty text. So after 30 minutes of me trying to get a good text placement and make it blend nicely, I gave up. Frustrated, I just flagged the usual norm to put text in the piece.

So yes, maybe the choice of my subject matter needs work, and my style is pretty generic and common... but I'd rather you based your feedback upon the skill involved, and techniques/effects that I need to work on.
Over the last month I've tried to break out of this mold, and I am fucking tired of my existing style - but nothing seems to be working out, and all my pieces just end up the same. Not sure what to do at this point really....

While the compliments are nice, I would prefer Criticism and more specific feedback on the piece. Also, what the hell is with you posting wedding videos in the thread?
