My Range Tank

Hello, Sink Fauchet here. Just want to know about how much I could get for selling this tank. It is straight F2P so far and I must say it is pretty ownage in F2P PvPing.

Also I'm pretty damn proud of the skilling stats. 3 over 70, and cooking is close

Shorter Term Goals

67/70 Range
56/70 Magic
40/40 Defence


Longer Term Goals

67/95 Range
56/94 Magic
40/75 Defence


Also, I am planning on going p2p soonish (when I make 2m or so and get 70 range and mage).
I was wondering though, what quests would be ideal for a range tank that would help me train, give me good gear or items, or give me much needed def xp (Post a list of quests, please, if you know good ones for a tank ranger) so that I don't have to do straight Soul Wars for def or use longrange .

If you have any positive input that could better help ol' Sink perfect his pure, it is highly welcomed.

i trained my range on aviansies botted 2 99 on 3 accounts now but def i did at dagganoths got like 70 att for whip :|

 

I don't plan on training attack until it doesn't affect my combat level at all to get 70, or I might not train it at all just to boast the 75 defence with 1 strength and attack

i've got a tanker myself and i pk like this:

I wear the same armour as you but Rune chain = Green d'hide body, Rune fullhelm = green d'hide coif.
and in my pack i've got rune fullhelm and chain. so when ur low hp u change to helm and chain and than back to green d'hide.

this migth help getting more kills

You've got a great start. I think it'd be a lot more beneficial to not train attack/strength. Mainly for the boasting rights. I wish you the best of luck, and I support you.

 

Fremennik Isles is a must-do quest for members. You need to do it to train at yaks, and trust me, they're some of the best experience.

Since you're 1 Attack and Strength, don't worry about raising them so long as it's all quested.

And for Defence, you may as well do Soul Wars. For 95 Range, I would chin as that would raise Hitpoints fast as well.

what about training on experiments? its better than yaks i think i got 67-78range in 2 or 3days playing 4hours @ day with iron knifes]

On another note, would it be worth it to get prayer once I get to a higher level and if so, which prayer level should I shoot for?

 

Some Range tanks get some Attack and Strength levels. But if you aim to stay at 1 that's your choice.

Most likely you're gonna have to do Soul Wars if that's your final decision. :/

don't get prayer if u gonna pk most of your time f2p and tbh i hoped wolrd only like 3times for 78range at experiments ;]

u can get 44pray for eagles eye.. but i think its not worth it.

 

Hm, I think 44 or 52 prayer might be nice to have. I'm definitely considering it.

If only because you need prayer for so many quests (Animal Magnetism, etc).
