Noonononono..... take away the vector/scan lines quick-snap! (or at least rub them away from the main render/stock)
It destroys the focal...

 

Yeah, it would look a lot better.
Post two versions, one with lines and one without.

I'm really liking the anime one, although the text ruins it a little. also, I wouldn't put scanlines on any of your tags, especially ones so prominent.
