How To Remove An E-Mail Address From Your Account

IF THIS GUIDE DOES NOT WORK FOR YOU, THEN TRY THIS ONE. IT TAKES LONGER, BUT IS GUARANTEED TO WORK. http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=804709

This is not a guide for dummies. I have recently tried it on an account that someone has attempted to scam and it has worked. If you have an account that someone tried to scam and left their e-mail address registered on it, then this method is for you.

THREAD IS CURRENTLY BEING WORKED ON, MAKING A FEW IMPROVEMENTS. SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOME.

I cannot guarantee that this will work. It has worked for me, and if you can provide information that will make JaGex think you're the original owner, then you'll have higher chances of success. If you are the creator of the account, your chances of success will be really high.

    You will require:

Access to the account you need to get the e-mail address off
Access to any e-mail address that has been previously registered with the account

Information to prove that you are the owner (helpful but not necessary).

    Yellow - Highly recommended
    Lime - Optional

Log on into the e-mail address that was previously registered with the account. Once there, send a mail to [email protected]

In the mail, you'll need to write your account's name, how it got hacked (make up this part) and that you want to get rid of the e-mail. An example is given below:

    Dear JaGex,

Someone's been on my account recently and has his e-mail address registered. I've managed to successfully recover my account but this e-mail address is getting annoying.

I have evidence that can prove that I am the original owner. The IP I'm currently on has been the first/second IP to ever access this account. The first one was from a different ISP before I moved. And if you look at my previous history, I have had this e-mail registered with my account in the past as well. I think the hacker has somehow gained access to my e-mail address, otherwise he wouldn't have been able to get rid of mine and registered his.

    Username: [Username Here]

I hope you can get rid of this current e-mail registered soon. I sent the mail here because there is no other address that helps with issues like this.

    Thanks,
    [Any Name Here]

Make up your own story, because if JaGex keeps getting the same message every now and then they might suspect that you are involved with illegal activities.

Hope that helps. Sorry if my English is bad.
