Seeing as there were many threads concerning different aspects of this hot topic, I thought it best, along with others, to make one topic to cover all of the debatable points on this topic.

Points of contention concerning this topic:​

• On Conspiracy Theories
  • Is there life on Mars exclusively?
  • Are their aliens being contained in Area 51?
  • Is there complex life other than humans on Earth?
  • If there are other forms of complex life in our solar system, what effects would this have on the subject of religion, if any?

Anyways, my thoughts.

This is a hot topic. I think that there are extraterrestrials in Area 51. I believe the Government keeps it to themselves to prevent public panic, and I must admit, I'd probably shit my pants if I knew aliens existed.

Why would their existence impose on your religious beliefs...?

 

I believe that there is life on different planets and in Area 51.
Roswell, it was proven aliens landed there, i think they have been look at us and figuring out our time zones and life, i don't know what you think but i think they just want to meet us, not hurt us, i mean i would freak if they existed, but the Ministry of Defence(MOD) know that they are real they just don't want the world to know otherwise everyone would panic.
I believe, if you do is your decision.

I believe they exist, but the public isnt ready for them yet, i mean, there's some white people out there that think every black person out there is a thug and is out to harm them, (this is just an example but you get the point) i think until the human race comes together as a whole then we will be ready to face new things. Look at us now, we came from cavemen to typing on computers and debating over the internet with people we don't know, you never know what the future holds.

 

There are trillions of stars, many of which sustain planets.

Why would we be the only occurrence of life in the universe?

 

Well i did somewhat believe it was possible for another life to exist on another planet very far away.

this video at around 22:50 has alien footage whether you believe it or not it might be worth watching. Also around 23:20 the guy who submitted the footage explains what is happening in the video.

 

Not much to do about area 51 but a couple years ago i seen a triangular object floating in the sky. It only appeared for a good 5-10seconds as it hovered over me. It was about as far away as a plane would be but i am certain that it wasn't a plane or any other man made object.

 

There is an obvious life outside our universe.
Universe = X.0.0 (infinity)
Universe is expanding, there is an unlimited amount of space and planets, and if we think we are the only ones out of those trillions. That's very stupid.

 

Why, and moreso how,could there be life outside our universe?

You would have to be incredibly narrow-minded to believe we are alone in this universe. But whether other-worldly beings have actually visited our tiny planet or made contact with us is still a debatable matter. However, why would they even want to come to Earth, look at what we have done to our planet and one-another.

Angelmax, Rhodesy's point is that even now, billions of years after the initial spark of the universe, commonly known as the big bang occured the universe is still expanding. There is evidence of this to be found by looking at how the planets are still moving ever further apart which I believe is calculated by red-shift.

Now onto the point, with the Universe still expanding, it has to have something to expand into, which is what I think Rhodesy was trying to explain.

As for another of your 'consiracy theorys' "are we the only complex life on this planet", well it depends on how you interpret the word 'complex' if you see it as intelligent, or more directly, more intelligent than us then it is higly likely we are the most intelligent life force on our planet, and infact in our solar system. However we have only explored like 2% of deep ocean, who knows what we may uncover.

Infact there is an infinate amount of universes. Simple things you are taught in school saying there is only one, is what I believe false. Yes the universe is expanding, scientists detect it from red light from the spectrum, and can see this. (if it was blue light it would be coming in), now you say, where is it expanding in? Other universes.

But yes, Angelmax is correct. Statistically, it is improbable that we are the only planet amongst 9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 other similar planets which evolved to such a state. In fact, I'd wager that there's even a possibility that there is a planet with mammals at the exact same stage of evolutionary development as us in the universe.

Just a note; "Nature repeats itself".

 

I don't like the way that people call humans an 'intelligent' life form. There are many life forms that are intelligent, each in their own way and adapted so that they can thrive in their environment. For example how a gecko spreads it's toes to allow maximum grip on a vertical surface, but it also has ridges that are barely visable to help cling on to any surface, on top of this it has microscopic hairs on these ridges that individually provide so much grip that it is virtually impossible for the gecko to fall.
What I'm trying to say is; how you define an 'intelligent life form,' will influence your conclusion on the question. My definition of an 'intelligent life form' would be one that has evolved through natural selection and genetic variation throughout the years and has adapted to it's surrounding environment allowing it to thrive.
So yes, I personally think that there are other intelligent life forms, both inside of Earth and outside.

 

I once saw UFO hunters on the history channel, and they said that AUTEC was the Area 51 of the navy and things like that. Then a "witness" who i thought was crazy, started talking about AUTEC, that they had portals to other dimensions, universes, he talked about AUTEC using Extraterrestrial technology to develop new weapons, etc... Sincerely after all that, i was amused and more interested than ever in the theme.

 

It's ignorant to say that there's simply no other intelligent life form in the universe other than humans. Is there life in Mars? Probably not, but we're just a speck compared to the universe. To think that we're all alone is just close minded and arrogant.

 

I agree with what your saying because the fact is, if there are others in the universe, we don't have the correct equipment to find them.

If they did exist in our solar system, we would have found them(or they would have found us) by now. Outside of our solar system, i don't know.

 

What are the chances that we are completely and entirely alone? Take into consideration all of the other galaxies. There are hundreds of billions of galaxies...if we were the one planet that contained life...it'd be simply astronomical. Now, on Area 51, I don't think there is extraterrestrial life there, but I do think something is hidden there about extraterrestrial life.

 

Or...We have discovered them but the government isn't telling us everything they know. I believe there has to be something within our solar system we never knew before. It is also possible for the government to hide any information about outside life forms if they please.
