Sythe should NOT be getting sponsership from Gold4RS

On the point of Sythe needing this sponsorship to keep running, i fully agree he needs it but on the other hand maybe top sythe sellers with real rating that are NOT chinese could offer up the sponsorship? I don't know.... Just a theory.

Technically... Sythe promotes several activities which, in some form or another, could be considered illegal in multiple countries.

However, I believe there's a line there. Sythe isn't going to advertise a site with Child Pornography no matter how much money they pay. Advertising a site that sells gold, however, is on the fence. He can't be 100% positive that the funds they obtain are from chinese gold farmers. And even if he was, he's not encouraging his users to do anything really that illegal, according to the server.

While it is illegal to farm gold in China, it's not illegal to buy gold from them in the United States, Australia, Canada, U.K., etc etc.

Oh, and, just so you know... I'm not sure how far it has gone yet... but there's a bill being put into effect which moderates the trade of currency for online transactions involving such trades. Buying gold will indeed be illegal one day, no matter who you buy it from. It can damage the economy in certain countries, and also affects the game business in which people buy currencies in.

 

I support. If stealing from peoples phone lines is to be illegal, then advertising a company that's breaking a nations law should be illegal too.

Its not fair to be selective in your rules. Of course whatever the community says on this, I doubt it will really make a difference.

They've moved to Hong Kong where it is not illegal.

 

I am 50/50 with this. It's unfair that they can advertise illegal gold farming sites and we cant even buy/sell pinlines? On the otherhand i would not like sythe to shut down considering who else would want to advertise here?

I would agree with this, people do get scammed, but sythe would lose money, I think sythe should go looking for another sponser if i'm honest, what about USFINE and RS2GOLD?

If you don't look into what you're buying then of course you're going to get scammed. I mean, wouldn't you first review sites like gold4rs by doing some independent research before you try their product?
