Hello my name is Tommy and I need you peoples help.

I was lurking this site I think its totally awesome! I downloaded a file from the rune private server list LAST NIGHT it was virus and the person STOLE my RS account details.

Everytime I recover he can to! and I'm not sure I can recover if I locked

Anything I can do, to stop him recoverin! I'm original owner PLEASE help me!

Recover, remove recoveries + change pass, if he has all of the original details then you are probably screwed. Take this as a lesson to always verify your sources.

 

send e-mail to jagex saying u got keylogged, also check ur pc's for virusses etc and after it just try and recover

 

First - Remove All Of Unwanted Software/Recent Suspicious Downloads
Make A Stolen Password Request
Once Recovered, Set Recoveries And Change Your Email And Get A New Code.

Should have total control now.

 

Checking his PC for anything won't really do much; he's already aware of an issue. Recover the account, change recoveries, password, etc. If he has a substantial amount of information, I'd recommend giving up.

I have the email code the PC is clean because I now use sisters laptop. He has all recovers and passes! I don't really want to give up on this account second its LOCKED I know its probally locked for ever!

If I get Ip addresses creation date? will that help?

Here you go, there has been a keylogging trend going on recently via msn.

 

Just done my research OMG you won't beleive this but the guy who is stealing my account lives in my town WTF! just traced from the name and IP!

OMG, but will adding IP and creation date help stop him from getting my acccccount.

BTW I'm using my sisters computer so he cant keylog me now!

 

If he lives near you that gives him an extra advantage in recovering your account as it's near you.

 

Is there anyway to outdo his information\! because \i know |i can add more but if he can recover after whats point?

 

What i'd do is lock the account by getting a light offense for say, swearing ingame. Then appealing it as stolen so it locks, then give it a couple of weeks.

There isn't much point in recovering over and over again.

In future don't accept files from people you don't know or visit 'private server links'.

BTW its a maxed account all 99s except summoning I'm sure he wont stop. I'm just gonnaa drop cash and everythin thank again I was going to quit anyways but cheers.

 

Ouch, thats alot to lose.

If you really want it banned use a really obvious bot and get several people to report you.
Such a waste sorry for your loss.

Also, if you have a email you can cancel the recovery.. If you have original details it should be pretty easy to get account back.

 

Dang maxed account yo does anyone know how I can get an account locked btw.

Need to , quit rs and going to lock then delete information.
