Removing background on a GIF

Can this be done? If so, could someone please remove the black background in my avatar?

 

To my knowledge it can't be done.
Only solution I see is to animate it yourself without using a background.

 

You'd probably have to go through every layer/animation frame and remove the background yourself.

Np, haha. I removed the background using photoshop, but resized it online.
