My MSN is not working

I will attempt to fix it as ive dealt with many locked out MSN's . PM me since you dont have msn.

 

Alright, try going onto a different msn, post the result and I'll try to find something out for you. I'm actually looking further into it now, I'll PM you if I get any results.

 

Most likely frozen by someone.

 

I had the same problem, thankfully I had been planning on making a new MSN. I would take up 1227 on his offer to unfreeze it.

PEN, how does someone go about freezing your MSN?

 

Im pretty sure its something like a DDOS, where as they pound it with something (Requests messages IDk) Until it cant handle it.

His MSN is not frozen

In MOST circumstances, your MSN can be frozen by a high number of incorrect logins. Thus, people will use sockets or "bots" to basically bruteforce your login, except they are all unintentional passwords. This then locks your MSN from being logged into for a certain time period.

In some cases, users use a script/bot to mass add you, thus, using sockets to add your MSN on tens,hundreds or sometimes thousands of MSN accounts, in return, causing your computer/MSN to crash due to the immense number of add requests.

In hahanerd's case, this is a server issue with Windows Live and I am guessing should be resolved soon.

 

What usually works for me is to close the MSN process completely and then reopening it afterwards. If that doesn't work I usually just log into one of my MSNs that works, after that I log out and I try to log in to the non-working MSN; this seems to help me.

 

As I stated above this was not a connection/computer issue or a frozen msn. Msn had stated they were having some server issues and his msn was down for a bit, but now he's up and running. What you mentioned above would only fix a problem related to your computer being bogged down due to high CPU usage or ram usage

 

Not really. I get the same error messages as him so I'm telling him what I do when I get the message that he gets.
