Tournaments? - Give feedback.

Are you going to take a profit out of doing this, or are you doing it for the community?

 

Tiny profit. I wouldn't go through the effort of organizing this if I'm not even a part of the staff.
The organizing would be setting up brackets, setting rules, getting the designated server. Then all of the after events of the tournament, including paying the winner, refunding second place.. Then taking a poll for the next tournament etc.

 

I honestly don't think this will work. Getting people on at the right times, contacting them to get on at the right times. People DQ'ing, it's all a big hassle, and I don't think it's worth it to be fair.

But, at the end of the day it's up to you.

 

There will be scheduled times that the players will have to abide to. I will have contacts with these people, to make sure to get a reasonable time.

I'm going to Make a thread tonight with tournament details, rules etc.
There will be a Poll attatched to this thread asking which Tournament I would be starting off first.
Depending on the success of the first tournament, I will begin to make a series of these.
