What do you think of this pre-built system?

I am looking to buy a new system - a cheap one.

Posting to get reviews from people who have knowledge about technology.

If you think I should build a system, could you forward me to some parts that would be a good build for me?

What my computer is used for
My mom: Posts ads on websites such as eBay, Kijiji so she needs lots of pictures for her ads. (She also likes to keep previous pictures incase she needs them down the road)
My sister: The typical teenager - likes to go on MSN, Facebook, Tagged, YouTube. Also likes to watch online TV shows that she missed.
Me: I'm pretty much what you would call a gamer. I don't play any major games such as Counter Strike, World of Warcraft, or Call of Duty - but I do play Runescape from time to time. I am also a Runescape botter - so I do use up my computer's processor and RAM most of the time that my computer is powered on. I currently bot on my Acer 5720Z laptop which has 2GB RAM and an Intel Dual CPU T2330 @ 1.60 GHz. This does fine for me, so the system I'm looking at is pretty much double of what I'm running right now.

Product I am looking to buy: http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product...spx?path=7f27c1ea2e26198f00afb68bbff5901den02

Only thing I see wronge with this system is that it is only an online deal which comes to $518 CAN. I can always get a $500 and $25 giftcard from a store, right?

In all do respect, there are definitely better deals I have seen. It isn't a great price for the spec's, however, if you really choose to buy it I would go ahead. MY ADVICE would be to browse TigerDirect.com and look on some of their refurbished PC's as you can get great deals especially with BCB(bing cashback). Also, you can look on slickdeals.net , or techbargains.com for some Desktops. That site usually has a lot of computers in that price range with much better specs.

    Custom build it yourself.

You do not need a gaming computer for playing runescape, as it's not data intensive.

Just get 3GB + Ram and it runs smooth.

Many 60$ Graphics cards enable you to play in hd.

$500 would be wasted on that model.

As Fed said its best to custom make one, runescape itself is no memory problem and bots arent either, so your main focus when building a gaming machine would be graphical enhancements; monitors graphics cards, etc. Tbh im not to smart on this stuff, if you want the best advice id suggest talking with 1227 or claw bogy.
