RS account banned in late November and I've yet to appeal....

So I was banned in late November, the charge offence is macroing, and I don't deny that. Of course it says permanently banned. My status is appealable, and the evidence is none.

Should I be honest and say I was a macroing and I wont do it again, or should I give some excuse? There previous was a forum for this stuff I thought, but I don't see it anymore.

save you're time, dont even try to appeal...

Basically what i have found is if you try to appeal u seem to be banned for longer...

for example if u dont appeal u may be unbanned in a year or 2..

however if u appeal ur probably looking at 5 years atleast.

Imo, think for a while, think of what could have made you bot in the first place. make up a story and stick to it. my story was i had problems irl and a friend of mine showd me this page (so on) and gave me a macroing tool, and seeing as i didnt want to loose anything ingame in the time i was sorting out my real life i made the stupid decition of botting. this made me get back my account ages ago. but i was a scrub botter back then useing selfmade scripts and stuff like that. and i havent been banned sience. this is 4 years ago btw ^^

imo figure out a story thats belivable and stick to it at all cost.

 

That's what I was thinking. Finding a story is the hard part. I think we can all imagine every story in the book has been used. lol

Does that actually work? A year or so after being banned, just contact them and apologize, and they'll unban it?

 

I tried making up the biggest story, being honest and saying I didnt have time and I just wanted to be the best.. complete bs basically. And it was a complete Fail, my appeal was denied and my pure with 60 atk 99 str 1 def 99 range 96 mage was perm banned. I would lie and say you weren't in control of the account tbh, but let me know what you decide and how it goes.

 

nah, i've appealed 4 years after ban date.. no luck.

 

Depends on how serious the macroing was. As for no evidence, they never show any for macro offenses.

 

Wait until it expires (IF it does)

Or wait until Jagex wipes the offences like they did last time with the new appeal system.
