1.) Facebook is definitely not for only teens, 80% of Facebook users are in College.
2.) That would be unconstitutional to exclude a whole group of people using Facebook.
3.) Horrible idea in a business perspective. Imagine how much ad revenue they'll lose if they put that rule in effect.
    4.) Really? :p

The only downside of parents on facebook is other peoples parents commenting into a picture comment debate or something and saying "Watch your mouth this is facebook!"

That drives me insane. It's fucking facebook, eh?

I think you can hide your statuses from some people.

Yes they should. If you don't want them on there, don't add them.

It's not MY statuses that they comment on. I don't have them added.

    (scenario)
Mark Jones - I just caught a shark (picture)
Me - wow that's fucking insane
Kornelius Jameson Marko-Polo - watch your mouth whippersnapper.

Bad/dumb example but I think I get my point across.

Well its my friends parents usually. I obviously don't want my friends parents to hate me even if they are internet heroes.

edit; I have my mom on facebook. Dad doesn't hardly know how to use a computer so I'm fine (for now). My mom sees something naughty on facebook she wont even say anything.

Don't be idiotic. Social networking sites are not just for teens. Adults/parents have friends too, from the old days.

You can't have a ban on parents being on facebook, how would they enforce it?
Plus facebook would be losing millions.
