*real* How to make a Private server!

arrrggghh help me please... im up to step 7 and when i try to open character folder it wont let me!! help

um im stuck, i typed in my ip into the web adress bar nd it ust says invalid..?:s wat do i do ?
can sum1 help me please?
i also dont hav a linksys router...
so how do i go about port forwarding.. :S cos ip wont do anything in my web adress bar.
also im not using wireless either :S

 

Dude i need help. I made my server alright. Now i want to make it public. How do i do that? I can go to silab and log in with ip 127.0.0.1 but no one else can. So how do i make it public... like my friend wants to get on. but he cant so can u help me out

 

you need to portforward and get a no-ip from www.no-ip.com

 

dude i already went to no-ip.com and added a host and downloaded the thingy and then i dont know wat to do now... how do i port forward? i have airlink 101 430W router

Is it possible to make a private server with a game that has been shut down but you can still download it but not log into it? And if so can you do a forum on how to make a private server for it. The game is called Dungeon Runners. I would really appreciate it.
