Bought a visa gift card, doesn't work online.

I bought a visa gift card from [email protected] and he assured me that it would be good for use online, and he did NOT tell me that it was registered in his name before he sold it to me. I tried to buy something on tigerdirect.com and all of the information he put on the card is fake, so that screws me over. He refuses to call tigerdirect to verify that I have permission to use the card.

 

The card itself is funded with the money you requested, it's just the issue of the information on the card. Why not just edit the info on there to your own?

 

Because I already tried to use it on Tigerdirect.com. Their credit card department will not process this card number now until they speak with Michael Valentone, and they already called the number and address associated with the card and found out he put fake information. He told me what that I could use it online so I tried. He never mentioned anything about FAKE info or having to change anything. They told me to have Michael call and verify the card and information and he refuses to help me.

I just want a refund or for him to call them to verify that I have permission to use this card... I am talking to him on MSN now.

 

Looks like he's temp. banned now. And he never sent me my card as well(he was going first)...

How did he take back the card? Either the card is used or isn't.

 

Apparently he called and reported it stolen. I have no idea. But I was able to log in to the card one night then no less than 12 hours later the information was changed and I was locked from logging in. I did not use the balance! I placed an order but it would not go through so it was refunded! Convenient timing that the card was fucking stolen back a day before the refund was supposed to hit.

I think there's a help number you can call to check the balance and recent activity just catch me on MSN and I'll find it for you.

I spent it and he knew I had major issues with the company I spent it at and refused to call them and explain that I had permission to use the card, so they were forced to cancel the order and refund the card. The information for the gift card magically changed the day before the refund was supposed to hit. HMMM........

Skele please add me on MSN I just called the chase visa gift card number myself and there is a charge made after I reported that the information didn't work. HMM... Suspicious much.

How can you change the info on a gift card?

 

I'm not sure how he changed it after I had already changed it, but he did. He must have called and reported the info lost or stolen. I've already said I don't know how he did it since he won't admit to doing it. The fact is the info was changed without my knowledge and I confronted him about it as soon as I found out, and he refused to have it changed back. He KNEW that the refund would hit the card soon, that's a motive for him. His only defense is "oh the money was spent already blah blah" well I have proof that there is no record of any charge made by me and that the card was charged for 39.99 a day or so after I reported it stolen on sythe.

Skele, I am not on MSN much lately because I've been extremely busy irl, so please just send me a PM if you want the card number, 3 digit code, and the phone number to call so you can verify for yourself that I am telling the truth here. He has gotten away with this for too long... COME ON.
