Post count does not matter?

Ofcouse does post count matter, but good vouches are just as important.

It will probably take a while befor anybody trust me enough to go first. So untill then I have to use a MM or trust them....

I don't think post count matters.
Join date - Perhaps... for example I made my account three years ago, but I've only got a few posts.

Vouches are the way to go, make sure they're legitimate vouches though and not just some guy who got friends to vouch for them.

It also helps to be of high rank on other communities. For example I sold an account to a sythe member named AltGamer, he trusted me and wen't first because I have a high status and trust rating on RSBotting forums. Trade went smooth and both of us are content.

 

To be honest, I would value postcount over vouches unless it is like 100+ vouches, since they could just be fake ones. Having like Mod vouches is a big benefit as well.

 

If it's lower than 100 vouches though, you can check the vouches out. That's how I got a few fake vouchers banned

I would value vouches over post count. Vouches shows that a person is trustworthy. What does postcount show? That you're a post whore?

 

Yeah I guese, but it's kind of a subcontious thing people do, when they trade, they ask to see their profile and just see post count. Well I do most of the time.

 

I go buy join date and vouches because most likely if the join date is before 2009 they hardly scam.

 

You could say that they have been on this forum for like 2+ years and havn't been banned, but some people make accounts in like 2007, and like don't go on it for like 3 years and then scam.

 

Agreed with you, I have what 10 posts? I can bet I won't be able to sell the account until I get into the community well and get at least 100. By my thoughts post count should be hidden.

MM is a middle man- both people give what they are going to trade to them, then the middle man sends it to the other party.

They help prevent scammers

 

Mm = middleman like some one legit to be part of the trade to see if everything works ect

 

Just go by join date like me

 

Post count will never be hidden. It's a good factor in trades. Along with vouches and join date.

 

But what about those few that go around with a join date of 06 but have like 9 posts? Lol.

I joined in 07, got scammed, hated sythe for 3 years, then came back and had a good trade.

 

Someone with around 1K post and 3 vouches can still be a scammer..
