Don't worry, there will be a method to go around this.
A Jtaged xbox (glitched xbox) is an xbox that's on steroids x4. There will surely be another method but not at the moment. That's what the update was for.

I think he means the extra perk and gun have been patched but the lobbies are still working fine.

i know ur new and all and i really dont want to make you cry, but heres the whole story on the patch.

the custom classes were patched, iw added a new GSC to the patch_mp.ff called class.GSC i think not 100% sure, which states what is a legit weapon for each slot in a class. if it is not on the list it will not pass and get a syntax error. retail consoles cannot modify the patch file therefore EVEN THOUGH ITS THERE IN THE ROOM IT WONT STICK ONCE U LEAVE.

10th prestige/challenges/instant level 70/ score/kills/wins/losses/headshots all still work and gettin them on a TU5 patch is very simple. just copy and paste the defined variables from the tu4 to tu5 in the onPlayerSpawned module. the copy and paste the individual modules into it

the xp scale was modified by IW again but the d-pad commands for instant 70 work still

i have been over this patch file about 20 times yesterday and have a pretty in depth understanding of what happened

i really am thinking of e-mailing IW and suggesting a server patch that wont let them connect if they are running unscripted code. that will eliminate all hacks, this has gotten out of hand, it started out with a few people who could do it, now there are 10 year olds hosting lobbies, knowing they cant code in C++ they marely copy and paste or D/L some morons patch file who posted looking for attention

a group of us is going to email them suggesting a server side patch. that way u cant "Edit" your way around it

and as for the xbox on sterioids analogy, a jtag is simply and older console without the NXE dash that has had some wire soldered to it to bridge some connections on the motherboard which allows it to run homebrew applications such as XBR3 and XEX menu. get ur facts right before posting. and have a great day

i have stopped modding mw2 myself, my wicked tenencies partner marc still does them, but he wont have one up because he is in paris for a couple days. if he does one i will post here and let everyone know its up. i have moved on to trying out BF:BC2 modding, its more fun making abrams tanks spawn on squad DM lol
