Hello all,

I realize that it is not going to be easy by any means to find a player moderator account for sale out there, so I expect my journey to be a long one. Yes, I also realize it will not be cheap by any means, but I can afford it.

My main account was actually a player moderator once. After quitting in 2005, I came back in 2009 to find that my account had been banned (no reason was given as it said it was banned under the old system or something along those lines). I was able to appeal my account, but quickly noticed that my moderator crown was missing once I got the account back (as expected) and all of my discontinued items + gold was missing.

So here I am on Sythe, a place where most player mods don't dare go near, looking to purchase one of their accounts. Hopefully one that is quitting Runescape and would like to get some money out of their account; while at the same time wanting to put their account in good hands.


Anyways, tl;dr blah blah got it.


While I am interested in buying a mod account with even the very minimal of everything (zero gold and level 1 in all skills), I would prefer one that had decent combat/skills/gold. Of course, I'd pay much more for a higher level account than a lower.

This is not a backdoor, chips-down trade, and I will not be making split second decisions. This is a risky trade, I am well aware, so I will take every precaution for it to go smoothly. Neither one of us will go first, we WILL use an official middleman that I will pay for.

Want to sell?
Here's the process we will follow for a smooth transaction.

Step 1 (Contact):
Post on this thread that you are interested in selling.

Step 2 (Discussion):
Add me on MSN ([email protected]) and we will discuss the trade. I would like to see the account in game, ie we meet in a secret area so that you can prove your status. Trust me, I have no affiliation with Jagex and I am not interested in harming the account I intend to purchase.
You will also be required to remove all recoveries/bank pins from the account. Thanks a lot!

Step 3 (Personal Verification):
After verifying in-game, I will make an offer over MSN and post it publicly on this thread. If you accept the offer, we will move to step 4.

Step 4 (ID/MM Verification):
We will exchange photo IDs. No exceptions. In case you decide to take your account back at a later date, I will know who you are. We will contact an official middleman that we both agree with and he/she will log onto the account in order to check that it doesn't have recoveries/banks pins set(or that the bank pin you provided works).

Step 5 (Sale Prep):
The middleman will change the password on the account and set the recoveries secretly (ie neither of us know them). I will at this time send my payment (including the mm fees which I will pay in full) to the middleman's paypal where I will claim and cancel. We will now wait for the recoveries to take effect and we will meet again once they have.

Step 6 (Sale):
The middleman will forward my payment to the seller and he will then leave me with the new recoveries and password.

Step 7 (Jump For Joy):
Transaction complete, and we all go our separate ways after vouching for our middleman.

I know someone that hacked an inactive player mod account about a year ago, its low levelled though.


What would you offer on it, it's like level 60-80 something I think..

 

I would rather get the account from the original owner. Friend of a friend maybe. I don't want an account that someone stole, sorry.
