Allow vouch for GFX sales

Well we can all be sure you've never had an account before this one.

OT: This should definitely be allowed. People all over are receiving vouches for worthless things. Selling 4-letter names for 50 cents for example. GFX does take plently of time to do, and I respect the people who do it. THey should be able to receive some sort of recognition for their efforts.

 

You would be right to assume I've had an account before this one, however, it was this one. I don't know why or how, but my account has been deleted or glitched away in past days/weeks/months. I used to moderate the Graphics forums on this account name, and before that the whole of the forums as a Global, and before that, on the same account, previously named SMI. I suppose that's why I said, "we" rather than say, "they."

Everything Vision Ex and Sin666 have said are the best reasons as to why they are not allowed. It is necessary, causes unneeded problems for such trivial gain.

 

Yes, but would it be possible for people to have a 'Seperate' Vouching system for GFX Sales?? Like in a thread someone could put, BlackMarket Vouches and then there GFX Vouches.

I think this is the best option:
Free sigs/banners/avatars = no vouch.
paid sigs/banners/avatars = vouch.
because else you can make a small sig easy and fast and getting vouch for it while u did like nothing :S

 

It would be no more trivial than other aspects of black market trading that merit a vouch. As a previous poster said, I can randomly generate 4 letter RS names for free, sell them for $.05, and get a vouch.

The banner in that thread is the work of Luke555, and it is obvious that at least some degree of effort and time was put into it. I paid him for it after the work was complete. Similiarly to any other skilling or user service, this was a PAID service, and as such I believe warrants a vouch.

Obviously there are varying opinions on the matter, but I think if one is not allowed to vouch for a legit GFX transaction, then other trades which currently allow a vouch should be more closely regulated.

 

New people, who happen to be the largest volume of users on the forums at any given time, won't know the difference between a vouched graphics sale and a vouches RS transaction. You have to say it's valid or it isn't. Given the reasons above, you should be able to see why it isn't.
