Could I possibly get a name change?

I really want my name changed to removed so someone doesn't steal it if that is possible. I made this current name when I was about eleven years old and as you can see I didn't even manage to spell faucet right. I'm trying to become legitimate as an rs skiller and I think people won't be able to take me seriously with a name like this. I have changed my emails and made a new paypal account and all I'm asking is that any mods consider my request to get my name changed, thanks.

Only way to get a name change is if you donate a high amount of money to Sythe, or are a mod.

 

That is very sad, I would hate to lose 1k post count and my rep just to change my name but I guess it must be done.

 

Heck, even I would donate to change my name to "Spyike" although from my understanding, you're pretty much stuck with what you typed in to start your Sythe adventure. The tweak of my name was easy, so not as big of an issue as yours.. I see your point though. Best of luck with your request. Perhaps they may consider the spelling. Who knows, like Runescape there may come a time that user name changes will be considered.

 

At least consider the spelling, it really really bothers me. In fact this thread just gave me an idea, Sythe should sell name changes for a dollar or so to raise money for the forum. It'd probably make tons from suckers like me.

 

Considering your time/post count with Sythe, you stand a good chance to gather support to make this suggestion. Once again, best of luck

I just don't have $300 smackers to donate.

I have the name I want registered in Aug 2007 but I forgot the pass so I got stuck with this.

 

There's been many threads like this before...don't get your hopes up at all because they will say "No" or "Donate lots of money"

My situation doesn't exactly parallel yours because I never had the right name.

Could I make a new account with that name and possibly change the join date and or post count of it and delete this account?

Scam. Change name. Scam. It will take more work to figure out a way to look at EVERYONES previous names.

 

There's only 1 way to get your own name to anyway you like it. Make a new account, and don't use your old account after you create a new one.

 

Why do you care? Look at my name. All trades still went good for me.

Become friends with an admin, donate money or make a new account (and dont use this one)

The first one is the easiest in my opinion.

 

It's not that hard, I've seen a vB mod before that allows name changes and shows their previous names.

 

Its a name, not the end of the world.
