RWT ban rate as a buyer?

Just thinking about coming back to Sythe and OSRS here after coupple years and for one I find that R2Pleasent is shut down then I am reading a lot of unsettling posts…

Lots of reports of players getting temp banned and wealth removed for BUYING OSRS gold even in the low amounts 10-20m range.

Yet, I still see lots of sellers in the OSRS forum market here. The consensus seems to be to buy from a seller who doesn’t have a high volume of customers.

So, my question and concern to you guys is… how often do these bans/wealth removal seem to be actually happening when buying gold nowadays? Are there more preventative measures to undego to lessen the chance? Any tips/things to look out for when choosing a seller (aside from scammer prevention, etc.)?

Buying gold through OSRS bonds would cost roughly 3x more but for the amount of time I spent on my account and the recent spike in them catching RWT, I may be tempted to say that this is starting to feel like a more feasible and maybe only option.

RWT ban rate as a buyer?

Also, is buying bonds via different currency to get it for cheaper a real thing? Is it bannable if it’s a real thing?

RWT ban rate as a buyer?

I have had no issues (even in these recent weeks) when buying and selling gold. It totally depends on you as a player and how you do things, I tend to have a bunch of junk setup in my inventory to trade over to the buyer/seller so the trade doesn't look too suspicious. In smaller trades i.e <300m things are fairly smooth. When you start trading on a regular basis of 1b+ it can become hectic. You should try to space our your transactions depending on what your buying amount will be. But in general you should be fine.

RWT ban rate as a buyer?

bans are definitely more common these days but still extremely safe as long as you're a casual buyer and not a flipper who does multiple trades a day

you're more than likely to get a temp ban for your first offence (if caught for buying), I would only then switch to bonds because as u mentioned its pretty expensive.

buying bonds with a diff currency for a cheaper rate was definitely a thing, not sure if it still is though

You will get banned temp. I was. Just get bonds... dont risk anything anymore. The days are over.
