Anyone else miss the good old days?

I just thought i would make a thread for everyone to share their old memories
and what they missed most about old runescape.

The thing i miss most is old pking.

I remember when i first started a pure account, it was like level 40 or something and i did desert treasure and all that, just first when ancients came
out. My step brother helped me do it all, then i went up to the mage arena entrance and started freezing eople and ranging them! like 40+ levels bigger than me and they couldnt do anything about it!! it was awesome! haha.


Before all of that, i remember when i first started playing runescape all together... being about level 20, dittering about doing little quests and mining and smithing at varrock.

So simple yet so satisfying.

Then i hacked my friends account and stole his full mith!!

A cheater from the start! haha.

I was only about 10 years old way back then.

Oh but the feeling of getting full mith then was jsut amazing! i know it sounds stupid but its true!

i started playing when i was like 9, in like 2003.

Good times...

Anyway what do you guys miss most?

 

i really miss these times.
i espessialy loved: Merching @ Fallador park & Behind varrock bank.
i loved the old pking aswell.
was happy when i koed someone with rune scim&2h or full rune xD
i'd like to have these times back, but it wont happen tough =[

 

yea merchanting at fally was another favourite of mine!

you think if every single runescape player emailed jagex asking for that it would happen? haha

 

buying r2hs 50k sellin for 55k varrokc central o classic and PKIN
20k exp a hour was considerd awsome back then lol anda 70+ stat was awsome

 

I doubt it. What i missed most was pking with all the mages at like cb 10. Find someone and bam! dead. I remember when i first got a rune kill. it was a rich nub in full (g( rune. i was sooooooooo happy!

 

no freaking trade limits and beeing über proud over 50k i hade full addy was like coolest in school then ofc old pking also pwnd

 

I remeber the first day i started, back in 2004, i thought a lvl 15 was a high level, the first thing i did was cut the trees by lumby, at the cows, then killed chickens,

i made 2 mains, one was wc and one was mining, i always dreamt i was going to be the best miner and mine rune ore in the wild...

then scamming people with oak logs, said they were yews selling cheap 190 - 200 ea. hahaha such good days..

having 12m in 05 then getting keylogged ..
or pkin on my many pures, and always being the leader, DD at giants, or going to demons, then we always backstabbed a member and got the loot... good old days..

 

i loved it 5 years ago and back then my real life wasnt fuckd up

 

aww scamming people with rune scims was fun aswell.. and lureing!!!! that was fucking sweet.

 

I remember when i was just starting out my friend was helping me, and this guy offered to make him full steel armor so he had him make him armor, then i logged on my guy and had him make it for me too acting like we didn't know who he was.

Also i remember when i first got 30k and i thought i was so rich. LOL

 

i loved it in the simpler times. haha

 

Lol i remember that i didn't know how to train other skills than attack, so I had like 17 attack an 1 def + str
That was when i was really noob, killing goblins in lumby with iron dagger

MISS THESE TIMES

 

i remember old pking in varrock wild by where the rats were... range pures owned back then, and i remember i always used to use pure essence to make air runes other than regular essence haha thats when i was a noob. But the fun part was the first time i did dragon slayer. bust in the lair with rune helm and legs with a addy plate haha.... good times...

 

started playing 03 in classic.. remember being level 66 in classic and when rs2 came i was lvl 68, it was awesome. then started hacking right around that time, came up with the rs3 phish scam. got over 350m during that time (prob like 2-3 bill worth now). phats, santas, mask sets.. everything. got hacked, made it all back, banned on banks, banned on main.. made a new main gained half of it back only cause bank pins had just come out, then got banned... quit for 5 years and im back.

2 yellows, 3 santas, 2 mask sets and an egg sittin on my banned main... (and like 100m cash, full drag, 100k yew, 100k coal, anything you could imagine i had 50 of them)

 

omg lol. i wish i was around when phats came out

 

I miss scamming ppl on old runescape...and especially pking :\

 

The thing's i'd do to bring it back...killing my grandma at the least...

 

I miss to good old pking back before the wilderness ditch I had a mage pure that pwned it had level 70 mage, I sold that account. I can remember when everyone supplied there skillers and pures with money from their mains. Heck I can remember when there were almost 100 full worlds on a saturday with 100,000+ playing consistently no matter what time of the day. I quit for a long time after jagex came up with a shit load of horrible updates to "save runescape" which included: The wilderness ditch, removing the wilderness pking and creating stupid bounty hunter, putting up a trade limit, messing with pest control, Don't forget the limit put on duel arena staking (which is now a ghost town), and grand exchange I'm not sure if it was a positive or negative. All I know is lobsters,yews all sorts of goods have sky rocketed after those updates 5 million gp in 2006 is like 15 million gp now. I personally think the bots in a way helped runescape keeping the prices lower by more supply.
Now there is like 80,000 people playing on a friday night. I wish they would admit they were wrong and remove the updates but we all know they won't.

 

I miss being young enough to enjoy Runescape.

 

I miss being able to pick up addy arrows in the wild for money, I miss creating mages and rangers to kill looters in the wild.
