Is Rsbots.net Being sued?

Same. Also... Rsbot is in lawsuit with Jagex (so I've been told). If you notice it going down, it's pretty self-explanatory.

They aren't in a lawsuit the got DDoSed by a bunch of faggots. But they changed IP and site, this caused the site to go down for a few days. Rsbots.net will never die.

 

They been getting DDoS for the past month.

 

I doubt people are stupid enough to DDOS any more..Its one of the MOST OBVIOUS brute force methods around. Might as well deface the site with your IP plastered all around

DDoS= DISTRIBUTED Denial of Service attack.
Note the DISTRIBUTED!
This means there are many computers around the world all accessing the site at once, not just a single server bludgening (spelling error?) it as in a regular DoS.
How do they achieve it? Viruses of couse! That way your IP address isn't plastered over the attack with a neon sign saying "I did it!". (Or you could just use a proxy lol)
I'm telling you, DDoS's are more sophisticated than you might think.

 

Agreed. It's unfortunate people do this anyhow though, it's quiet a pain. If a particular website is helping you out, why would you even bother to do it.. It's just a lose lose situation.

 

They were migrating servers... they do tend to get DDoS'd frequently, however the downtime a few days ago was due to a transfer of hosts.

 

The only site thats small enough to not be sued is kbot.
