New Honor System

Ok so i've just loaded up patch 3.3.3 gone and done a bg and recieved 6.5k honor :O

Now im all for easy honor but this is a little over the top lol...

And 4k normal honor on a normal win.

Your opinions?

 

Well, when you consider how ridiculously easy it is to get iLevel 232 PvE gear (on par with Furious), this is just catching Battlegrounds up and reducing the grind.

 

mhm i agree, plus when you turn in yer ol' marks, you gave a very nice amount of honor for each of those

if it just me but did any1 else notice many of the mounts and armor/weps are a bit "glitchy" and discolored?

 

I wouldn't exactly call that a "nice amount" since it was 185 honor / mark >_>. Not to mention you had to spend forever trading them in because blizzard are fucktards and made then unique(10) and a 2 second cooldown. Like honestly? what else can we do with the marks other then turn them in for honor? Nothing, so why isn't there a "convert all my marks to honor now" option.

 

I was maxed out for 5 types of mark, got a nice amount just took about a fucking hour.

 

So if you get capped you don't waste the marks?

 

Since the honor rate was increased, do items cost more honor now?

 

nope same ammount of honor.

 

Eh, I like pure honor instead of using those badges. Although the prices of gems will probably go down a little since 10k honor doesn't take as long to get anymore.

 

Yeah, considering you can get that in 1 battleground.

The mounts being 50k is awesome too. I'm trying to get all those before the cost goes up, cause I'm pretty sure it will when they realize the balance is off.

 

Don't think they can do much to make it balance, since I think the honor cap is still 76k and if they raised the mounts to 76k it'd still be extremely easy to get.

 

It's really easy to get honor now which is good! I just recently got an alt to 80 and I have all, but 1, offpieces now. I did hate turning in the badges for honor though. Took forever because I had 90+ of each.

 

It really helps those PvE junkies like me to get geared fast for PvP. Though they made it tad bit too easy to attain so much honor per game. Turtling AV yields an insane amount of honor... which makes every game excruciatingly long. Still, +1 for Blizzard for making lives easier.
