Can you cause your own death?

Negative thoughts create stress. Stress creates hardship. Hardship takes away from our physical/mental well-being. Which then leads to depression thus turning into a more serious medical condition. Take me for instance, I was recently diagnosed with epilepsy. It started with negative thoughts then shifted into stress. Later, the stress shifted into physical/mental strain. Thus, turning my physical/mental strain into emotional distress known only as depression. Depression has been know to be the key factor to some on the most violent brain disorders.

 

Sorry about your loss, and i also believe if you do not have the will to live it can drastically affect how much longer you live for, i had whooping cough (constant breathing attacks overnight) and i would lean that i wouldn't be alive if i didn't fight at all.

 

I think it was coinsident.
I think mind cannot choose when to die even if ur deadly ill.

 

I don't believe in this sort of things so i say its just pure coincidence.

the mind can do many things like that. it can make you sick when you believe you are sick, it can make you believe in religion or any other number of things which don't make sense.

 

If she wanted to die before 90, it's quite possible that after putting it in her mind, her brain helped to slowly kill herself (sorry to say). It is said that the human mind is very powerful and if you imagine something enough in your mind and picture it happening, it will. That may have been the case with your grandmother.
