Another way some people vent negative emotions, better than shooting up a school, worser than focusing it into things such as work or sport.

 

Depression is always a cause. I've done it before. I did it when I was depressed and it took my mind of my emotions. People can do what the want with themselves. Don't judge people.

 

Surgical blades are much more fun anyways.

 

I know people that did it for attention not to kill themselves. I personally think it's gay.

Gay to me =pointless I Don't find a point in people doing it but if it stops them from hurting someone else then by all means do it.

I agree. I oftentimes do little things not even to hurt myself, but just to distract from all the problems I have. I wouldn't be able to cut myself though...

 

Why is everyone so mean to people who cut? People always call them fags and weaklings and it's really fucking obvious it isn't helping them. What makes people want other people that already feel bad feel worse?

I've never cut and I could never cut because I am afraid and hate pain, I'm just curious.

Why does this bring so much pleasure to you when you see people in pain? Can't you understand that this is just a sign that they are hurting?

 

It's nothing gay or emo related..first of all.

It's hilarious that these people can't control their own actions that they bring pain on themselves. We are talking self abuse here, if it was people being tortured or being abused then that's pretty fucked up.

But its these kids right, living in average family homes with everything they need to keep a steady life, but they still think life is cruel and other bullshit, pull yourself together and realise that, your most probably better than half the people in this world.

Like I said before its amusing.

Same with people with anorexia, they have the complete choice to eat, when they are people in the world who don't even have anything to eat today.

 

You can't say that everyone's life is perfect and they have everything they need to make their lives "OK". If I cut myself when I felt like killing myself I would have bitched you out because you have the wrong idea.

You shouldn't just laugh at people that are basically asking for your help. If you were a "nice" person you would just leave them alone or help them out, not make them feel even worse. I feel that is really harsh to just pretty much look at it like it's something for your amusement.

 

I've never come across anyone who does self harm.

I just see it in the paper or on the news, makes me giggle. Anyway they can bitch all they like, they won't be getting my sympathy.

 

I think that a lot of people who do it just want attention, although some people probably do it because it makes them feel better (without telling anyone).

I know a girl who is a BIG attention seeker, and she does anything she can to get attention. She will openly tell people that she is going to start self harming and that she wants to kill herself. Normally the only reason she talks to people on MSN is to tell them these things, so she gets attention. Now loads of people hate her for it.

 

Tbh. People do get depressed & they can't help that. I have self harmed. Not gona lie.

It was only because i was depressed. It felt like a good way to ease the pain. :/

 

in my opinion its stupid, i would never do it myself,but people sometimes are just messed up in the head like that..

 

You know, it really seems as if every one of your posts is fueled by hate. I am strongly against cutting as well, but you're being incredibly ignorant. I can agree that there is no point to it whatsoever, but have you ever stopped to think that you perpetuating the undying hate you seem to have for everything might not have any point either?
