The definition of 'trust' varies from person to person.

As a general rule of thumb always use an OMM to remain safe DURING the trade, and take as many precautions possible so you remain safe AFTER the trade. (Set your own recoveries, set an email, a PIN, change the password a few times).

Unfortunately all someone needs to recover an account back is the original password and the original IP address on which the account was registered. Technically speaking you can never trust someone, because as long as they utilize the tools to recover an account, they always could. Even though it could be highly likely they won't, still not 100% safe.

Just be as careful as possible and you should be alright.

You're an idiot, there's no way that that's true.

By the way, judging by your vouches it looks like it was Spyke930. I looked at his account, he doesn't seem too trustworthy, so I wouldn't be surprised.
If he won't talk to you, I think it's within the rules to recover your account from him if possible.

In my opinion, swapping accounts is just dumb. People almost always go back on the deal after they've wasted the supplies on the swapped account.

If you buy an account, make sure you buy it as a good or service. When people want payment for an account as a Gift, that's a Red Flag.
A gift payment can not be disputed, and refunded, but a good/service payment has 45days before it's permanent.

If someone hacks their account back after 45days, there's nothing you can do. however, at 45days it's also a lot harder to say that it was that particular person, because a lot can happen in 45days.

    Hope this helped :)

Could you please link to a reputable source that says that it's legal to steal from Americans in Russia?

If you read my other post you'd see that I saw it on 60 minutes, and it would take alot of work to find that episode on Hulu, so I won't even bother.

Even though spyke930 may not be trusted it wasn't him who hacked his account back.

Omg I love your country!
It really depends on the person who you're trading with.
I wouldn't do it because what do I have to gain?
    Some MORE PIXELS?
20,000$ on the other hand though...I wouldn't want to risk going to jail or prison :noworry:

Never go first, no matter how many vouches, or how many symbols next to your partners name. Always realize that accs can be recovered back easily--get as much info as possible.
    Vouches nd statuses don't matter.

    I lol'd.

But quite frankly, if you're willing to believe everything you're told - like in this 60 Minutes report - then your chance of being scammed is a lot higher than if you were always skeptical.
Given the fact that you bought what the report was telling you, it's no great surprise to learn that you've been scammed three times in three trades.

You never truly know,But your best bet is to Ask for a PM before the trade, take a video or take pictures showing the trade, and the person's email then take it from there.

My advise. High dollar trades require enough info that you're able to reach out and say Hello..

Swapping = always able to hack back, same as account selling.
even if ''it hasn't got req's/e-mail'' so you have to watch out.
