Wow, seriously staff? If anyone else would have taken the trade and extended it by 6 hours, they would of been slapped with a TWC and you guys know that. I am not saying punish him, because he did in fact get the trade done, but don't play stupid. Now, who on earth leaves for that long during a 375$ trade?

Not saying any action should be taken, but don't play stupid and start defending him because he is just staff. Realize that he did wrong and go with it.

You do realize he is the #1 gold seller, possibly ever. You people are making a huge deal out of a small mistake, I have no doubt if he could have been there he would have.

A small mistake? The dang trade went on for an extra 6 hours >.> You give someone near 400$ during a trade, have them disappear and not be mad at all. I doubt you wouldnt be a bit salty over it.

Friendship aside? Today is the first time i have ever talked to the guy, and it was strict business. If a leecher would of posted this, i would defend him too.

 

We're not defending him because hes staff, well I'm not anyway. The issue is simply between them, and really shouldn't involve the rest of the forum. The issue had nothing to do with R2's credibility as a staff member, therefore the thread wasn't necessary. I'd probably be annoyed if it happened to me as well, but I know anything can happen during a Western Union trade, they aren't exactly immediate, unless everyone lives right beside a branch.

And Luke, I wasnt making a huge deal about it. People post "good job _____" mod supprt threads in feedback in there all the time. I thought it was relevant if I post it in the feedback forum. And I really didnt intend for it to be a huge mod clash, I repeatedly affirmed how I respect Will, how he is a legit and valued Sythe member, and how I still hold him in high esteems.

I was just simply posting a minor critique for an otherwise great mod in the right section.

Thanks again TJ for your nuetrality and impartial view on the subject. This will be my only post on the thread, as I presume Finn will try and infract/temp ban me if I continue to post on the subject.

 

I was saying my friendship with plznate, not yours. Okay do you know how many people have had GREAT trades with R2P? Honestly if he could have been there he would have. Honestly your making a big deal out of nothing, the thread was locked for a reason.

 

If i did read it correctly, they were not waiting on the money, they were waiting on r2 to give the account details to plznate. And i will give you that involving the whole forum might be a tad too much, but you have to warn others on what might happen if they use the same middleman. Would you not like a similar warning?

 

Honestly one bad trade isnt gonna ruin R2's rep anyway, hes better then that.

How is it not a big deal? It evidently is a big deal if this is the 2nd thread about it. If R2 is simply a busy man, why did he accept to middleman the trade? He could have simply said that he was too busy and to kindly use another MM.

 

The trade went through in the end though. Jesus christ bro, it could have been anyone If anything don't trade with R2 anymore.

Im making a big deal out of nothing? Im not even making that big a deal out of anything, but i think defending something that someone obviously is very upset about. Why don't you go ahead and send me 375$, and ill keep it for the next 6 hours, possibly more, and you not get worried about it?

Im not trying to ruin anyone's rep at all, and it would be hard to ruin his with all the money he has handled in the past. He is probably the user i would trust the most (besides darren), and i dont even know r2.

Also, i highly doubt something that big could of came up to where he couldn't walk over to the computer, type on the msn conversation "hey, i have to do something real fast, but ill be back whenever i can. sorry" and then left. No, he just left.

Please send me 375$ and i will hold it for a random amount of time.

 

If someone held my 375$ for longer than the amount of time that they said, needless to say, 5x the amount of time they said. I would've tried to find the kid ahah. I can tell he is obviously trusted and legit, but if he agreed to mm the trade, then that should be his first priorities; and not even saying he'd take that long is just disgustingly rude.

 

I don't think anyone would have been ''slapped with a TWC'', irrespective of their status, TJ. Please stop making out as though you know exactly what the staff do and exactly how the system works. You may have been here for a while now, but you have never been staff and don't have the status to be flying the banner of righteousness when I've already given a perfectly reasonable explanation to illustrate the incompatability of his feedback thread with the forum's purpose. Were we accepting critique and feedback for middlemen, we would have a forum for it. We wouldn't even accept feedback of Official Middlemen here, not least unofficial middlemen like R2Pleasent.

The fact of the matter is that - though the time taken may have displeased you - the trade is completed; and no one has been scammed. If you find R2Pleasent's services so abhorrent, simply avoid further use of him as a middleman. If Plznate had intended to ''encourage'' R2P to pursue greater professionalism and better treatment of customers - as was his closing sentiment in the initial feedback thread -, he would send a private message to R2Pleasent. Embellishing on what Matt has already said, the issue is private. If R2Pleasent has broken the rules, file a scam report. Until then, issues must be resolved between the two of you.
