Slightly dissapointed in R2.

It's easy to sit there and say "It's not big deal", but I want to see someone put $375 up there and sit for 6 hours waiting.

I personally have nothing against R2, he's actually one of my favorite Sythe users and I've done business with him plenty a time.

 

It's also quite ridiculous to pay R2 such a high fee and have to wait that long with absolutely no warning..

You're such dolts for saying he's impatient and that R2 was busy simple as that. It's not that simple.. He paid R2 for a service and R2 did pretty bad at it. At least he delieved the gold in the end.

 

You need to stop contradicting yourself.

That right there shows you questioning his integrity as a mod (and being chosen).

You used the word agonizing. If you trusted Will (and you wouldn't use him as an MM if you didn't trust him) then I'm quite sure you'd of known your money is in professional hands.

Never said you were flaming, but this thread is shaped to be an attack.

 

That is taken out of context, it was a response to Megamatt's assertion that R2 is not obligated to be courteous. I think R2 is a fine mod and a fine seller, but can imprive slightly on this one area.

I did say agonizing, I believe it is slightly less powerful than anguish. And it was, since I was literally, at my computer, for six hours long, checking Sythe/MSN every five minutes considering I was completely clueless as to to what was going on. Regardless, the miniscule defintions are not important. I trusted Will because he has an excellent reputation. I still trust Will, as he is an outstanding example of character here on Sythe. How is my thread shaped to be an attack? Is this not the Feedback forum? So it is ok when we have "go Suf/Sin/Megamatt" support threads, but slight negative feedback is treated with aggression from the mods?

 

We aren't being aggressive, just scrutinizing the situation. I'm entitled to my opinion and feel this thread is highly exaggerated.

Anything that can potentially tarnish someone's legitimate reputation is taken seriously.

 

Yet I have never onced attempted to tarnish his legitimacy, on the contrary, I have continually affirmed the fact that R2 is one of the most trusted members of the Sythe community. The responses I have gotten from the mods so far are "shit happens, and your personally attacking Will/over exaggerating". The responses I have gotten from everyone esle are similiar in fashion to my own views. I would have assumed that as mods, you welcome organized, rational, constructive criticisms so that you can learn and improve to become even better mods. It appears that the mods are getting overly defensive at a small critique and recomendation I have made for another mod, which if this is the case, then the high esteem that I formerly held for some of the you may have been misplaced.

To re-iterate, I have nothing against Will. He is a GOOD mod. He does his fair shair of the work, has responded to my PMs on here several times, and is extremely legit. This is the feedback forum, and as such I posted what I believed to be helpful, constructive feedback.

 

So because he's not at the computer every single second of the day to deal with people like yourself, you deem him negligent? Not only do I see nothing that has occurred here worth investigating (given that he has indeed middlemanned the trade for you, and it is completed with nothing scammed), your feedback thread pertaining to middlemen is most unwelcome in this forum, given that feedback here should be relating to the site or staff members. Indeed, R2Pleasent is a staff member, but you aren't giving feedback in regard to his staff role.

The transaction is complete and you have not been scammed. Deciding to write a thread of this length regarding how long the trade took seems utterly stupid and ungrateful in the face of other members that would - without Will's assistance - have been scammed at the very same time. You strike me as the type that complains needlessly.

 

I can see the concern, and yes criticism is allowed, its just that any issues you have with him that don't threaten any credibility that Sythe.org has granted him (him being a moderator doesn't mean we approve of his middlemanning) should be taken up with him, rather than a drama-prone thread about something that isn't really a huge concern for us. I'm not trying to say he couldn't have done a better job (a much better job in my opinion), its just that we can't really speak for something that we didn't condone.
