    I changed my name a few times, and apparently it was 'offensive'. So now they gave me this crap name and I hate it. Is there any way for me 2 appeal it / message them about it?

    They actually change it to their own? wow...Some kid got on my account and changed my name to like, BIIIIG DICKK So... I'm waitn for somethin lol. I can't change till like, April 22nd or somethin.

    You can choose your name but once you choose it you must wait a month before deleting or chaning your name again.

    JaGex doesn't give you a name when you're previous name is considered offensive.

    They change the account's display name to brackets with a player ID in them. (example: [#89534541])

    Your login name will still be the same, but when you try to login it will tell you that you must change your display name before logging in. Then you just go change it.

    Once you've changed the display name, the login name will always remain the same, but you can change the display name again in 30days IF you are a member. For non-members you can't change it again.

    You have to wait till u can change it again.
    you just shouldn't pick an offensive name.
    now you walk around with a fail name :p

    Exactly. Unfortunately they do have the power to do that =\ It's only one month though, at least it's not permanent!

    Just to add to that, I had this happen a few times and always just changed my name to something else that they thought was 'offensive'. Eventually they just set my name to something random and crappy (like the 'suggest a name' thing when you make an account) and as far as I can tell you can't change that again :(
