    Ban evader reports

I suggest to create a special subforum for ban evaders reports and hide all posts in this section from regular users, due to scammers can look in this section and when they found that they were reported , they just easy change msn in thier username or post so there will be no proof of ban evader, maybe only IP adress ,but they can easy change it .

    Any support?

    Ban evader reports

That is why proof is required before submitting the report claim

Take screenshots. Also, they can't run away. Using the modcp, mods have a complete list of IP addresses logged into the accounts.

    This is pointless.

    No

1, Screenshots arent required in "ban evader reports", read this: http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=769092
2, Anyone can easy edit source code of sythe and than take screen so this will result in false reports
3, Ip adrees - people can use proxy or they have dynamical IP ,which most users of sythe have so after they switch off and than on their modem , they will have new IP

So only one working proof is thier post on sythe

Thts the reason why the reports have to be hidden!

I don't think Sythe really needs this. Alot of people get caught ban evader sometime or other.

    Ban evader reports

you submit the ban evader report and a admin/mod looks at it as they see fit. If you just go on and post ( X user is Y user) they will most likely not get banned due to no evidence.

    Ban evader reports

I know that lot of people get caugth for ban evader, but this will prevent them from not being banned...

Try to look at link that i posted before , there is explained how ban evader reports works. Evidence is tht they use same msn with banned and new sythe username and proof is in thier post , so thats the reason to hide reports from them.

If they are banned and they were banned not fair than they have to use Dispute forum

    Ban evader reports

    as he said.
and i guess scammers won't look @ reporting section.
unless they see their name, and they can't change name so they're getting banned than.
    so useless.

    Don't support.

It's fine the way it is, and the Mods/Admins are getting the job done.

    Ban evader reports

One of the main functions of the Anti-Scammer section is to also warn other members so if we hide those reports others wont be informed of potential ban evaders.

Plus google cache usually has their e-mail cached before they edit it and of all the ban evader reports I've done nobody has really looked at the report and edited it. If that were the case, however, an Admin can easily check what was posted before the edit.
