Death, what do you think happens?

See though, you don't know what it was like when you were born, due tothe fact that you didn't exist.

Heaven is a nice idea in a way, although I'd consider any form of endless life as hell. There'd be absolutely no purpose to existing whether you're in "paradise" or hell and after like a billion years they'd be equally horrible. Also, by every (mass) religions standards everyone is going to hell, nobody qualifies worthy of heaven by the bibles standards..

But, assuming that wasn't the case I have a question: How could you enjoy your eternal stay in this "paradise" if, let's say your parents and most of your friends went to hell to suffer eternally? Oh well, you'd probably just forget about them in a couple million years.

The only reason humans would think of anything like an afterlife is because we simply don't want to accept the fact that we're dead.
It's ideal to the human mind that it imagines something like a place beyond human imagination earned through the hardships of life, but the reality is we just die. We can't comprehend it because it's literally impossible to comprehend nonexistence.
If I were to die right now then I would just disappear, mentally at least.
I wouldn't know I'm dead, I wouldn't miss anyone, my consciousness would simply be dead.

Contrary to what I've just said, and yet also in agreement, I like to think one would be reincarnated, simply so I don't have to deal with the inability to comprehend nonexistence.

In all honesty, I believe that is it. No more. Even though it is impossible to comprehend that.

Computers do not think. They do not have consciousness. Concerning my other argument, let me revise it a little: In order for you to consider life and death as possibilities, there has to be a clear distinction between them. Until you are dead, there is no discernible difference between life and death; therefore, we have to go upon the assumption that we are alive.

You are biased on the fact that you don't know what thinking actually means, just what you have been taught/learned.
    bingo.

I don't think, I KNOW, That while my body rots on earth, My spirit will be in front of God, and he will judge me on whether I go too Heaven or Hell.

Death, what do you think happens?

If you know, then what is your proof?
You don't, so you live in uncertainty, rather than saying that you "know".

    1. Faith is a large thing,

    2. I don't believe the world could have been made the way it is by coincidence. Look at how complex it all is.

    3. Why else would a large majority if the world (1 Billion)

    That's not "knowing", it's guessing.
Educate yourself more instead of making assumptions as to how it was created.
They're idiots who believe what people tell them because it sounds nice?

Death, what do you think happens?

welllll my little brother (quite a while ago) when he was like 3 said "i remember when i went to my grandma's house on my birthday and there was a fire, all of a sudden everything dissapeared and a heard a really loud noise now im here"...mind=blown how could a 3 year old come up with something like that. so i basically think you get reincarnated into a new body when you die.

IMO when you die, I think life happens again. For example you die, then you start a new life and you're born again.
    Maybe your life changes everytime?
Or maybe Life is just YOUR dream?
    Damn I always think about this stuff, it fascinates/interests me A L O T.

Yep. We're living. And concerning the thinking thing, what do you think thinking is?

Oh, and also, functioning biologically is enough to say you're alive. ;)

Religion is societies downfall, and if you call yourself a christian why are you doubting the existence of a place talked about extensively in your 'holy book' so called 'christians' are not supposed to doubt anything written in the bible, you must not think for yourself, were you not brainwashed properly or something?
