HELP Runescape WORRIED

Hello There Today I decided to scan my computer for virus and what did i find some virus's 28 infact i think ive sorted it by deleting the file that had the virus's and im re scanning with malware bytes

now getting to the point im shit scared incase it hacks my runescape account the virus's im not sure what type they were it didnt really say

am i safe i have recoverys etc

im so scared incase it does im needing so desprete help 1/ making sure virus is gone and 2/ will my runescape account get hacked

did u play runescape before u scanned the virus? (earlier that day/the day before)

 

okay first of all, did you pay for the antivirus ware? If you didnt or if you downloaded it from somewhere its probably lying to you so it can get you to buy it, if you did buy it then just get on a different computer change your passwords and everything to everything! it may not be a keylogger or phisher but just to be safe do it anyways and then swipe all the viruses and make sure its clean before you log on to rs or paypal or anything againn

 

Make sure you keep items in your Bank when you logout and you have a seven-day PIN change in place. Check it each day and see what happens.. By no means does this mean you had something focused at hacking your runescape account and I for one would say no worries. best of luck

I think you will be ok, Because If it would have hacked your rs account, It would have already done it.

Just change your pass.

I'd suggest you do the following:

1. Copy all your files, reinstall Windows clean.

2. Change your passwords, reinstall your shit.

This way, you'll start with a clean and secure comp. Be sure to run anti-v from now on.
