Detailed description of the events that took place and why you disagree with the decision: There isn't any massive story to this. My friend Fox an owner of RuneStake showed Jay and I this new bot he had been using. It asks the user for access permissions. So in the event the discord is banned, he will be able to drag everyone over and start a new disc. This seemed like a wonderful tool. It also had alt and bot prevention. When running a deathmatching discord, it is important to be able to ensure scammers are not making alts to try and get smiley rank and scam. So having a bot that had good alt and bot detection was just a nice extra to have. Did it log ips, yes. It was initially in the general bot logs. But later moved to only web panel. No one has access to that panel but myself. I'm just not fully understanding how me using a bot that other are using is getting me DNT'd? I didn't see anyone else putting some disclaimer, sythe.org doesn't even have a disclaimer when you sign up that your ip will be logged. So I'm just failing to understand the logic here. It should be noted we opted to remove that bot for general admission to the discord about 2 weeks ago as well.

Anything else you wish to say: That entire thread was made purely as a witch hunt going for anything and everything to try and get me taken down by a poor and sad little penguin man named pingy. The fact is he was using the EXACT SAME BOT in his discord 12 hours prior to making that post.
I could not find any sythe rule that says you need to provide a full disclaimer of the services a user is opting in to. It was my personal bot I would have made changes to make it less invasive. I suggested to the dev that hashing the ips would be a better thing to do as it's less invasive and still allows for good bot and alt detection. I'm not a blackhat, a malicious man. I'm a good, moral man who has only ever tried to help others. There was many times people would make death threats towards staff and myself, or rag the cc for days. Not once was any ip leaked or misused. The web panel is never even opened. I don't even know why this is like a topic of concern, I am a sysadmin for 40+ websites, a handful of which are rs related. I've been in the information security business for the past decade. I think this could have been handled better. I would either expect the DNT to be removed or every other server that has the bot to be also DNT'd.
