Laptop cords

So i've been through about 3 of these, they keep over heating or something.
Mines making some weird static noise now so im pretty sure it's fried soon.
Happen to anyone else?

 

Are you talking about the charger cords? If so, I've never had this happen...Maybe it's the brand you are buying or something wrong with your laptop.

 

For me, they just slowly stop working, to the point where I have to use tape/objects to hold them in place. This is why I don't use a laptop anymore (H).

 

It my be the outlet that you are using, have you had any other devices go bad on it? Do you switch outlets that you use for your laptop? do you have access to a multimeter to test the outlet and the laptop cord?

 

It's the cord for sure. happened 3 times. yes i've used different outlets. its the cord, it gets really hot and burns up
