We Are The World 25 for Haiti (New Song dedicated to Haiti)

"We Are the World 25 for Haiti" is a 2010 song and charity single recorded by the supergroup Artists for Haiti. It is a remake of the 1985 hit song "We Are the World", which was written by American musicians Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie, and was recorded by USA for Africa to benefit famine relief in Africa.



So what do you think? Was it better than the old version?

I certainly enjoy Mary J Blige and some of the other singers, but deifnitely not the bieber kid. -.-

Personally the old one sounds better. Its a classic and it shouldnt have been touched with.

The only reason why I don't like the new one is because they had pop singers and they used autotune. In the classic one, they actually had talent.

 

It's not bad; I ended up buying it. I like the variety of artists in the track.

I love the song, but I like the old one better. This new one is kinda weird as well with them making weird noises. However, I do like Just Bieber!

I definitely think they could have had someone better than Bieber sing the opening line.
I don't like how they incorporated a bunch of hip hop artists either.
They should have stuck with actual singers... not people who edit their voice to sound like they're singing.

 

Personally, I hate that they re-made this song. Especially after Michael Jackson's passing. Michael Jackson wrote the original song, and I think it was a shot to his coffin to re-make it.

Also, I think that the "stars" now days fail in comparison to the talent of the classics in the original song.
