    Hello and sadly i have to report Chicks because i have no other option.
    I have informed Video about the case but i have no longer patience.

    Long story short.
    I was trying to buy watch via website like alibaba, aliexpress and etc called dhgate.
    So i contacted a "seller" there which required Alipay payment which i was not able to do.
    I contacted Chicks ask could i sell btc for Alipay and they agreed.
    So far so good.
    After sending Chick's bitcoin, they send the "seller" Alipay payment.
    Sadly for my part, the "seller" turn out to be a scammer.
    I contacted the website dhgate, reported to police and also call Alipay.
    I did 3 calls so far with Alipay and explain them the case + gave them proofs that i was scammed, but i am not the original sender and my options are zero to receive refund.
    Alipay supervisor told me 3 times so far they will issue refund to the sender (The Chick's alipay sender) because they understand that i was scammed, and will return the money to the original source.
    5 days i am trying to manage Chicks to tell their sender to request the refund which Alipay waiting to proceed without success.
    User "Sally" from their discord delaying for no reason and saying there is nothing that they can do (which is blatant lie consider Alipay supervisor already confirmed refund will be done to the sender).
    So my problem here is, either their Alipay sender already have the refund and they are playing stupid holding my 1000$+ or there is something wrong out there in their part.
    Because Alipay supervisor confirmed with me that once the original sender of the Alipay payment contact them, they will issue refund instantly.
    It costs nothing their Alipay sender to contact Alipay and request the refund, and this delay have zero sense letting me scammed, or letting them get the refund and keep them for them self.
    As i said, @video was informed about the case, and i hope @Chicks will take this more serious and if they didn't request the refund so far, to request it and turn it back to me, or if they already took the refund to not delay me for no reason and play stupid and return the scammed amount from me.

    It is weird that also Alipay told me their "receipt" give no information about the sender or receiver either:

    So there is something really fishy going on and my 2 cents is that their Alipay sender already received my refund from Alipay and just playing stupid and not returning it back to me

    Hey there, hope you're having a nice day.

    First of all, apologies that it got to the point where you reported us on sythe and I do apologise if you feel that there was some miscommunication/we did not help enough and I hope that I can clear everything with you and everyone reading this message.

    So, to give a proper timeline of what happened here :

    1. On the 17th of July, you opened a ticket in our ChicksX discord for a swap. We swapped bitcoin to RMB(we sent alipay to your QR code)
    2. 5 days after, on the 22nd of July you asked us whether we can ask for a refund for the payment.
    3. We checked on the same day/ day after with the sender and he contacted alipay support alongside the receiver. There's 2 things to note here :
    -> Alipay support told us that it is impossible to chargeback the payment and that we would have to contact the receiver.
    -> Upon contacting the receiver, we got absolutely no response which we communicated.
    4. We sent a further inquiry to the sender who further confirmed that alipay cannot issue a refund. Now, there are multiple reasons this is true. One of them is that alipay as a payment method (if via qr code) is very hard to chargeback and not possible. The only way that this would have fallen under any protection would've been if anyone using alipay was paying an online shop or website, which isn't the case here. We kept hoping that we'd get a reply from the receiver but that was with no avail.
    5. You vouched us last tuesday, 4 days after you asked us to chargeback/ask for a refund with alipay. Had we been entirely quiet and not tried to help you , the vouch would not have happened.

    On our end, we did business as usual and completed the swap without any issue. It is not our obligation to refund you the amount that you got scammed by an external factor when we paid out the address you asked us to pay out. Asking us to resolve an issue like this is practically impossible and we should not be held liable for you getting scammed by an external party we had absolutely nothing to do with. We've taken all the measures and done everything in our hand to assist you and I understand your frustration but there is not much more we can do. We contacted alipay support and we also contacted the receiver without luck and we truly did all we could. The payment is outside the protection alipay gives therefore there isn't much more we can do. Whatever alipay supervisor you talked to misled you. I can provide full proof of having tried to contact the receiver alongside alipay support, although I don't think we are obligated to as we are not the party that committed any wrong here. You are absolutely right in stating that it does cost nothing contacting both parties, and we have already done both of those things with no avail.

    We're obviously more than happy to keep trying to contact the receiver, but I'm afraid there isn't much we can do if he does not answer to us. I can also confirm to you that the sender has not received any form of refund and proof can also be provided of that. I'm happy to continue this discussion with you on discord or in this thread, but mentioning that we're playing stupid and not returning it back to you does not make sense and I hope you realize that. Although again, I understand your frustration about being scammed, I don't think it's necessary to shift the blame onto Chicks and put the blame and accuse our sender '''receiving the refund'' when we have truly done our best trying to help you and are still willing to.

    I'd like to see some evidence of you having discussed with alipay management as everyone I have talked to has confirmed the same thing to me - alipay payments cannot be chargebacked or refunded unless the receiver accepts to refund the money, something we have tried to do for you. The refund got requested with the receiver the day you requested the refund and we got no response. Same thing goes for alipay support, they were contacted same day and I can provide proof of that as well.

    Your case was taken seriously and all measures to try to help you were taken and this was handled as usual. You sent us an address to send to and we sent. Simple as.


    And just to clarify, we wouldn't be forced to assist you with this since on our end we did everything properly. If it was possible to chargeback the payment(not possible in this case) , it would be our choice whether to do it or not since many chargebacks affect credibility of the account alongside the account getting terminated for too many chargebacks, see paypal's case. We still chose to help you regardless because it is the right thing to do but couldn't help further as it is physically impossible.

    Keeno, i don't want to sound rude or disrespectful but seems like your IQ is lower than your room temperature.
    I guess you don't expect me to record my conversation with Alipay providing them private information in first place, and in second place, even if i did that (which i didn't) to post ot publicly here.
    Also, i don't see you have any mod status or anything to be involved in this case or being able to help by anyway.
    Just to help you a little bit because seems like you didn't get it.
    After conversation with Alipay supervisor by phone, the only thing that Chick's Alipay sender should do to receive the refund is contacting them because i was scammed .
    Also, if you don't take this serious, i wish you nothing more or less but being in my situation and take it seriously then :)
    And another tip to rise your IQ a bit: Chargeback is totally different thing than providing proof to the payment system for being scammed than self-requesting chargeback.
    Consider Alipay confirmed they will refund my money, obviously i have provided them enough proofs that i was scammed.
    But if any mod need those proofs, just feel free to contact me, i will be more than happy to provide them privately to mod, not public here in this report.
    Keeno, i don't need you to help me (i don't even know who you are or how you are involved with Chicks) i already help myself by calling and proving to Alipay that i was scammed.

    P.S: Alipay payments cannot be chargedback but they can be refunded by the system in case of fraud. That's what the Alipay supervisor told me by phone.
    There is police report against the scammer provided to Alipay and many many proofs not only from myself, but also from the website dhgate.com (which i believe provided you as screenshot from dhgate support page).
    Seems like everyone is understanding my case and trying to help me but Chicks Alipay sender.
    Maybe because he already received my refund and just trying to keep my money?
    It may be impossible to chargeback via Alipay, i am not sure, but thanks god that's not the case here, because i am not asking you to chargeback, Alipay will return the money by request, not by chargeback. I had phone confirmation from Alipay supervisor they will turn back the money because i were scammed. That's totally different than chargeback.
    Or you think that payment system as Alipay won't provide any kind of security for people after htye were scammed?

    It's not about expecting you to record it, it's about you mentioning that they mentioned something to you whilst they mentioned something else to us and seeing your side of story.

    Just to clarify my other message, I didn't say we would not help him. We've always tried to help to the maximum, I just clarified that normally anyone else can choose not to.

    Alipay support is basically like paypal support. You get an entirely different answer every single time and passed around many times with no help at all.

    Again , there's no hard feelings here and if I was in your situation I'd be as mad as you are and at the end of the day both of us want to reach the same goal.

    We've discussed this further in discord to make communication easier. Will update this once a resolution from alipay is found.

    Seems like Alipay is blatant liars who promise something over phone and then lying.
    This is even worse than paypal, at least paypal not support scammers, but seems like Alipay is heaven of scammers.
    Chicks have done everything in their part to help, sadly they cannot people in scammers paradise like Alipay...
    Case closed for now till the police catch the scammer and return the money to Chicks (if that even happens)
