Explanation of the trade: I joined their platform with the intention of growing my business. So far my trades have gone smoothly. I have 2 negative feedback. One because I forgot to turn off my gold offer and I went AFK. So I wasn't able to respond to the buyer. I reached to them afterwards to apologize regardless. 2nd negative feedback was someone who left a negative feedback just to spite me after a successful trade. How they scammed:
I sold 400m ($138) to a customer. Who decided to launch a dispute and pretend like the gold was not delivered. I caught him lying several times and Eldorado support refused to look into it. They just asked me for some impossible documents to prove that the gold is in his account. They ignored everything else.

He said he's from Dubai, so I said "Inta wahid scammer, wallahi" to him in Arabic. Which means "You're a scammer, I swear" But then he lied and translated it to something completely different - https://i.imgur.com/EWXNpHV.png

I caught him in the lie and told their support but they completely ignored it.

I think the seller pressed order received after I caught him lying. Regardless I immediately placed a withdrawal request and told them in the chat. They proceeded to block me from their customer chat so now I can only send them emails.

I don't know if I will be getting this money or not, but regardless the way they handled it is very unprofessional and I've seen sellers in here get punished for far less.

 

Same guy who did it to me, After doing a successful trade he wants me to sell him more gold if not he'll be leaving me a negative feedback. Like its so unfair to us gold sellers who's doing legit trades nothing we can do right there buddy.

If you take screenshots or videos of your trades, you should be able to prove the gold was transferred through them. You should be doing this for all your trades for proof of delivery as it would also be required for proof in a Sythe dispute. Im sorry for your loss. I have had the occasional customer try this on me even with 5,000+ feedback on the site. If you cant prove delivery how is eldorado supposed to back you up? When I was a new vendor with less than 100 feedback a customer tried to use a fake with a similar name and I took screenshots of everything in-game during their attempted scam and eldorado support was competent enough to understand and backed me up because of it.

On the flip side, I agree with Oshy about feedback. Negative feedback cannot be disputed no matter the circumstance or evidence. There are plenty of customers who try to use negative feedback to pressure vendors into falling for scams or providing extra gold or items to their order to remove it. Based off conversations with customer support the only way this will change is by popular demand; It would also be nice to be able to leave feedback about customers so that if another vendor has an issue with them in the future they can see it is not the first time that customer has had issues with a vendor. The customer feedback should not be public, there are plenty of times I suspect a customer is lying but without proof I must believe them. If other vendors also say similar things in reports then eventually the customer should just be banned. I don't see why a vendor would abuse this system if the feedback is only visible to customer support. Similarly, I would like the option to block customers from coming back too my store in the future after I have forgotten their name.

 

I've been user since 2020, haven't used the site for a few months, decided to start selling again and got banned for no reason
I'm 100% sure it's because related to ip Geo location cuz it's from Russia
Support obviously doesn't want to reply and sent only 1 message with this copy-pasted text as I've seen a lot of times this on the reviews/forums with the same issue. If you don't want people from Russia, then make an official announcement that you wouldn't work with sellers from Russia and you don't have to lie about "suspicious" activity

 

I'm not disputing the fact that I made a mistake of not protecting myself with proper screenshots. I screenshotted the last window on the trade thinking it wasn't enough. Obviously you live and you learn. And if the case was just that, I would understand not winning the dispute.
However the case here is that the very same person who attempted to scam me, tried to scam @Oshy. And I'm certain he tried the same with others. So my issue is really with how their support handled this situation. I was lucky and I caught him in a straight up lie in the chat. I tried to show the support this but they completely ignored me. They didn't even respond and say like "Oh im sorry we cant verify if this is a lie or not". They straight up ignored me and said things among the lines of "last chance, provide screenshots". They then proceeded to block me from the customer-service chat. And I'm glad this guy was caught scamming others too.

Regardless, I did get the money back, and the negative feedback that was placed there was removed. Eldorado reached out to me in DM but we never really finished the conversation. Regardless they fixed the issue after I wrote about it here. But clearly their staff in the customer service department is lacking and needs to be heavily improved.

That's really great idea, I will forward this to our team, and we will see if we can maybe come up with something like this.

 

Weird cuz usually I have been impressed by their live support on multiple occasions. I hope they arent making cuts to staff or anything because that was the start of the downfall of PlayerAuctions.

 

We are always taking care of our support and increasing staff that helps our customers, but sometimes cases like this happen, so we always take a look at Sythe or our Trustpilot to help us solve the issues, but sometimes we can't solve it. That's why we encourage sellers to record the trades and collect the information. So we could really help them.

 

Bought 3 expesnive RS3 accounts from website from sellers with good rating. All 3 were recovered after short periods of time. Never again.
