OptimusBot 2 (RAGE) - We are returning to the scene.

Ofcourse, this is all old information however some still applies.

In short I'll put a little history before starting on the new information.

The history of OptimusBot:

OptimusBot was started at first by The_Flames and me as a fun project and because RSBot was half dead at the time we started it.
We were the first public, opensource reflection bot in the history of RuneScape cheating.
The Bot itself wasn't all that good yet, until we started going further and started a community which gained over 2.8k members in a short timeframe (6 days).
It became a popular alternative for people who normally used RSBot.
We had a ban rate of 0% because we we're staying as close to the surface as possible, leaving the client 100% intact, mouse movement nearly natural, and most of the input timing etc. was dynamic so it couldn't be linked to a bot.
At our peak the website got hacked, the bot died, and we were gone for almost a year.

But now, we are returning with the so long awaited release of Optimus2 that was already announced last year, but because of the hack we never got to release it.

Again we're going for a full reflection approach, once again staying at the surface and once again being dynamic and least detectable in every way possible.

The bot is not yet finished, but we're planning for a beta session by the end of the month for everyone who registered before that date.

The website is currently being designed and it'll take a few more days till we are all up and running.

But before we finish setting everything up I want to know if the interest in a new, good, and fancy bot is still high, and I'd like to know what everyone misses in the botting scene.

Also I figured i'd put a little list of new features that were promised:

- Full website integration (View and control your bots from our website!)
- Multi-threaded scripting
- A simple custom scripting language.
- An online script repository
- Built in support for paid scripts that can be added to the repository by the creator, the rest is handled by our software, and you get your money.

Alot more is ofcourse included, being everything that Optimus lacked, and a little more.

I hope to see a positive response from the RS Cheating folks, but if you are one of those people that thinks "I have to see it before I believe it" be sure to check back during the week of 15 March, because the website, forums, and the beta registers, will be up and running during this week!

Sweet, I was so mad when I had to switch to Rsbot or Scion when Obot went down. Now you're back to Replace it, awesome.

Designed a new and unique feature for this one too, browser based botting.
You can run the applet in the Bot, or you can load it in your browser and bot in your browser, if you think that is safer.
I'm really anxious to release this, nailing out the large bugs this week and then we're going into open beta.
The API is pretty much flawless as of yesterday, doing the other large things now.

 

Ive never heard of optimus bot but i have heard of the flames back when rsbot was starting out. Ill look for the release and post my feedback but thank you.

 

Cool, I never got around to using the original. Didn't optimusbot eventually shut down and form a private server last time?

I'm with Jimmy5410, I remember when this first came out, but I can't say I ever used it. I'll be sure to see how round two will be.
