It's dumb and greedy to tarn your reputation for pocket money. If you wanna pay low fees be upfront about it. If you can't do good fees to ensure fast transactions, then be fair to your competition and just be upfront and say that you can't do the rate, but offer a lower rate. Told you I'd report you. I'll report you over pocket money, purely out of principle.

Explanation of the trade:

Sold them 2b 07 for .325. So 650$ was due. Never agreed on any fees. Transaction didn't confirm within 2 hours (now 6 hours). BTC dropped in the meantime. Contacted their customer support and they tried to brush me off by saying that I should email them and they'd respond in 24 hours. Contacted their customer support and told them Sythe rules that state that the buyer is responsible for price volatility if a transaction takes more than 2 hours (said 4 in chat, but it's 2). They don't want to pay me out the remaining part of what I'm due, which makes them indebted to me by Sythe rules.

Why is it problematic that they told me to email them and handle it in this manner: it's an unfair business practice to force me to carry financial of BTC fluctuation, while they can sit back and wait for BTC to jump back up and down. When I pay the 07, and we agree to BTC, I should receive whatever we agreed upon within 2 hours, so I can do with it what I want. Secondly, they never specified that they'd send fees this low, they're saying that fees weren't low, but all I can see is that the transaction still has no confirmations. Thirdly, Sythe-rules clearly states that the buyer is responsible for crypto price fluctuations if the transaction takes more than 2 hours. They denied me compensation, therefore failing I'm paying what I'm rightfully due (650$). Told them I'm not happy with this kind of treatment and they threatened to ban me. If they pull this on me, who knows what they pull on less mouthy customers?

How they scammed: No confirmation after 2 hours, BTC dropped in the meantime, which means that the sender is liable. They're flat out denying this and refusing me for payment shortage.

Most of our issues related to Bitcoin transactions are dealt via Email which you denied sending.

@Regarding Fees, we always use standard fees, which most of the time confirms within 2 hours.

Why didn't you send me the difference when I asked, but did you force my hand? Would you have not sent the difference had I not posted the report? In the chat, you said you wouldn't send a thing, but now you're flat out telling me you're sending the difference without a doubt. You gambled on the fact that I wouldn't post a report. The difference would have been sent, but as requested by our Livechat agent you would have needed to send me an email.

I won't deny the fact that none of our agents knew about that rule, because neither did I (Obviously my mistake). That's why we always use the Email system to sort out such things.

As mentioned in the previous reply, our LiveChat agents do not deal with any issues related to Payment Methods.

And risk price fluctuating even more? No thanks. Please respond to my allegations. You banked on the fact that I wouldn't open a report over 15$. Why was their response so aggressive and did I even get banned from your website from asking what I was rightfully due? Do you work like this with all customers? What happens when they don't open a Sythe report?

 

I think you're confusing here, mate. I'm not a Livechat Agent and I only got informed about the current issue after you posted this report

If you did Email and showed me all the proofs all differences would have been paid.

 

Appreciate the fact that you take up responsibility now, but you're responsible for your workers and I would have preferred it if I did not have to type this report.

I have read your DM and your responses and I'm satisfied with the way you've handled this situation. I understand your POV and what you're saying. You're not always on your PC, but you fixed your worker's mistakes in a good manner. I hope that you educate them about these rules. It's ultimately you who has to deal with the mess that's created, which costs time. What you do with the email system is up to you, but you should make it clear to your customers that with any calamities, there's a more direct way to contact you (for example discord). Emailing a business isn't very inviting, especially in this market and when dealing with price fluctuations.

Mods can close the report for all that I care, you've handled this respectfully and I hope you manage to bring you can use this situation to upgrade your business so that we can do good business in the future.
