Name Transfer Help Please

Hello. Just yesterday, I brought a rare name. I made that account member, so that I will be able to change the name. What I didn’t know is that when you change your name, you will need to wait 7 days after the 28 days past for the name to be available. At first, I thought that the name was taken already by other players, so waited about 10-15 minutes and the name was still unavailable. So, I changed the name on my main. Right after that, I found out about 7 days after the 28 days thing past. Does anyone know how to transfer names between the account I brought yesterday with my main without waiting 35 days. Both my main and the other account needs to wait 27 days before I can change again.

I don’t know how to contact Jagex, so I went to the runescape forum and posted it on the “Name Change?” contact thread. Does anyone also know how Jagex will contact you telling you that they are working on the problem or fixed the problem or won’t do the problem? I think that Jagex are the only people who can fix this, but is there any other way to contact them about this instead of using the forum. The forum isn’t that good because they hide everyone’s post. So, I can’t see if they reply to my post or not.

 

It is not possible. When you change your name it says you will have to wait 28 days before you can change again.
You will just have to wait it out I believe unless jagex are helping with that but Ive not looked into it

 

Hmm. Thank you. So if I am correct, does it mean that after 28 days, I have 7 days to change my name back to original? Or does it mean that I have 7 days during the 28 days that I can change my name back to original before it is available to other players including my main?

Also, I know the exact time and day that I changed the name. So, how does runescape do? Assuming that it is 35 days then name is available, do they do it by hours. So, I mean like 35 days from yesterday at the exact time I changed the name or like 35 days in general.

 

Pretty sure it's 35 days in general.

Got told I had few more days to wait to change my name. At like 1 am that day I changed my name when I did first changed it at like 3 pm.

 

7 days after the 28 days so will be 35 days.
