Need help with name change system!

So I bought this rare name from a friend. Lets say for example the login name is "Name", (just the example), but my friend thought he wasn't selling it so he changed the display name to something gay, for example "Blahblah111".

So when I got it the login name is "Name" and the display name was "Blahblah111".

I got a pin today and changed the display name back to the login name, but when I added the login name to my other accounts friends list it had the symbol there and said "last known as blahblah111".

How do I get it without that stupid symbol thing?

 

Can I have someone else confirm this?

You can... after a some days, I don't know how many thought.

I think it's around 30-32 days after name change since it got to be few days after the 28 days period of no-change.

 

I know this guy who changed his name to "GLITCHED" and it doesn't have the last know as thing. So I'm pretty sure there's a glitch that you can do.

 

I doubt there's a glitch. My own changed name has the sign deleted.

As I mentionned above, I'm pretty sure it's after the 7 days ''waiting'' date that it gets removed.

 

Wait about a month and that little thing by your username will be gone

 

after 21 days that symbol disappears.

after some months ur display names get unavailable if u don't change it.

Don't worry, it DOES go away.

It will disappear once the name you changed from "blahblahblah" or whatever is available again. Usually around 1 month. (I know because same thing happened to me before).

 

As others have said, I'm pretty sure if you wait 32 days or so it'll go away. After however many days, you can rechange your name and that's when your original/last name is up for grabs again. I don't know if someone else needs to take the name or it just goes away. You might want to try making a throw away account with your first name.

 

You can't sorry buddy. My account name was "sawkingmydik" i got it removed by jagex. They made me change the name. I didnt have another name on it.
Just wait a few weeks

 

It's like, 28 days I think until the sign disappears.
It's pretty much just to let your friends know that it's you.
