Currency and western union question

There are a lot of US people on this site as everthing is $,$,$. Im from the UK and looking to sell lots of gold. If i sell to someone in dollars via lets say western union (never used it before) are there any extra fees/ and is it chargeback safe?

Also, do i need a western union account to recieve money or can it be delivered to/ picked up from my nearest branch in CASH for pick up with no strings attached?

 

I would really use paypal over wu because nearly everyone uses it here.

 

The thing is i havent made a paypal account yet so if i am a new member and randomly recieve lots of money they will limit my account or something and i cant get the money out and there is chargeback bother....... from reading the WU site i think if someone sends the money you just need the code and identification to get the money and no worries about chargeback

 

Western Union is alot safer tbh no charge backs, they give you pure cash and not a credit to your account..

 

Agreed many buyers scam via paypal but using a cc or just simply disputing i have had this done to me several times. I would definetly use wu over paypal anyday

 

What details would i need to provide the buyer or WU with to recieve money using WU apart from account details to sell the money?

Soo using WU you know there legit, cause you have all of there information
