Guide To: A Way To Boost On Modern Warfare 2.

WARNING: You can get banned for boosting! (although I think it's a low chance if you do it with a friend)​

Okay, so in this guide I'm just going to show you ONE WAY to boost. This is really simple and you can do it with a friend if you would like. Boosting is a bannable offence though, so be careful. And I would like to apologize for the lack of pictures and quality of pictures in this guide because I cannot get good quality screenshots yet because I don't have a capture card at the moment. Now, on to how to actually boost..​

Step 1: Joining Your Friend- So, first off get on MW2 with your friend. Then, start a party with the friend you are doing the boosting with. Now, remove your friend from your friendslist (you can add him back after). Once you've done that tell your friend to go into his own lobby, and lastly tell him to search for 3rd person cage match. Wait on the party chat screen and when you can join, do it. And now you are in the game with your friend.

Step 2: Getting Ready For Boosting- Now, to get ready for boosting you are going to need to have a class ready that has a Tactical Insertion. I would suggest using a sniper class. Once you have your class ready, start the game. Find each other on the map and you are ready to start boosting.

Step 3: The Actual Boosting- Once you are near each other, one of you needs to lay down a tactical insertion so when you die you will respawn in the same spot. Once the tactical insertion is down, it will look like this:



Once the other person sees that, they need to look down their sights and aim for a headshot, like so:



Then, just shoot. You should have a lot of XP things popping up on your screen depending on what you did, and that should look like this:




You repeat this step until the person who was shooting has 950 points (or 19 kills...same thing). Then the other person will take their turn to do the shooting and you lay down tactical insertions. Once he gets 19 kills, you can choose who will win the match and switch winning each time. This should give you some nice XP, you can beat challenges, get new titles and emblems, and unlock new weapon attachments and camoflauge.

Pretty good way. I have always thought about doing it, but never knew how to get each other off a party and go in a server where there's only you and him.

By the way, how will they ban you though? How will they know that you know each other?

Never thought to use a sniper, learn something new everyday ;]

 

I would personally get 18 each, so many times have I accidently thrown a grenade, or called in a pavelow or something, just something to add to your guide.

 

Isn't a good way to use a riot shield and then kill with a knife, that will get you more Xp.?
