Anyway... I think Gold4rs style companies should be allowed to operate, just with regulations. Prevent them from working ridiculous hours and being taken advantage of. The Chinese "Democracy" can just take a cut, and promote them to the point where it's a profitable venture.

Like the article said, this will only scare off the small shops. The bigger organizations will eventually find loopholes and continue to operate.

 

This cant be good considering I just sold my account to Gold4RS, though they did say that only GOLDFARMING was illegal. I dont know, im a little confused. Hopefully I get my payment for my account.

I don't really think this will stop gold farming, China has been supplying most MMO's since they day they came out. Even after Runescape was trade limited, they figured there way around this obstacle because of how much money is to be made. I don't think China should have the right to outlaw this though as this employs thousands of people.

Edit: I bought gold from Gold4RS and the amount of hours they work is unheard of. My account was logged it for 56 Hours Straight, without any breaks. Restrictions would be a good idea, but banning it all together is a fail IMO.

 

Woah that is a ton of money virtual farmers are making. However, when it comes down to each farmer they get very little. China can do it cause their communist I think. Why in the world stop this though? LOL, it makes no sense......

Its like a job for them to goldfarm... If buying 10m for 25 dollars from them can feed them for a month... whose to say its a bad thing?

 

Finally, I hate goldfarmers at WoW too they ruin the economy.

 

They ruin the economy on runescape aswell.
my mate bougth 35M goldfarming @ usfine, they reach this ammount with pure essence mining 24/7.
so it ruins rs aswell
hopefully they keep doing this and get jailed or w/e.
