This is the only place i know of where they are breeding White Lions.

Apparently, hunters are willing to pay upto 100,000$ to shoot a White Lion & then get there picture taken with it.

 

A regular lion has a sandy color fur, but a white lions fur is closer to white.

Personally I think this type of lion is an amazing creature.

 

Looks like a plain old lion to me. Not too sure how this breed came to be though, usually breeds of animals are from evolution to adapt to their habitats- polar bears are white because they live in cold climates, Siberian tigers are white because they live in cold climates etc etc. I really didn't know lions inhabited any places other than places like Africa.

 

I would pay 1,000,000$ to be alone with those hunters and play a little game called 'run'. Oh howmuch fun i would have.

OT: The lion looks amazing - I liked the link to more of them its cool to see there isnt only one. They should be in the wild though, with vast numbers. No animal should be 'rare' unless its in their nature.

For being a white lion, it only looks slightly whiter. I was expecting a white lion to be an albino engine of destruction.
