    Few samples of my work:

This one I took a sample of a graveyard from the internet, and I pasted my own version of a grim reaper into it, with appropriate scale. Added animating wing texts, and a nice dark scary font
    [IMG]

This one I did completely from scratch, produced a radar like mechanism using photoshop cs2 and used about 30 frames to animate the bleeps on the radar, whilst moving, the render wasn't smooth but it's good enough for a free signature.

This was one of my most powerful signature inventions, my "signature" animating planet technique using cs2 animation. Just a few tweens, and proper color dodge techniques.

Basic but, nice. Golden Sun clan.

I like the bottom one, its a cool way to have all your friends in your sig - instead of just the plain text with their names

It's a nice use of animation, but, animation doesn't usually result in a good persay, 'art' piece. It's more of flashing to get your attention, and doesn't incorporate much art at all.

    - Thank you.

    - I disagree with you, simply because that is your opinion.

    - But for you to state that animation is only used to get your attention, makes me really start to (respectively) question your knowledge behind art and the perception of motion. Why you may be seeing flashing images would be because your brain perceive motion faster than others (16FR<). Or perhaps your perception of animation has been tainted by the media and it's promotional offers. But at any rate, Animation is indeed a highly respected form of art. Look into it, or actually ... watch a movie :)

    - I made this, enjoy it. Don't give my secret recipe out.
    - I'll show you how to animate it with another video if you can follow this one.

Most successful pieces don't incorporate animation. Simply, because it distracts the judge of the sig from the focal. Good fight though :).

KIABIN is right - Animated signatures are not 'Highly Respected' to any extent, as they do not incorporate natural artistic flair- instead it's just a reliance upon program skill. And being honest here, what makes your signatures any different from the promotional media material - apart from the subject matter? It has the same basic level of animation, and nothing that gives it that sense of individualism... Just same same.

I understand your point KIABIN, but remember, this is "Goldbuyermatt's extreme animation signatures" thread. Not Leonardo Da Vinci's Art Gallery. :)
