Forgive my poor grammer and choice of words as I'm on a iPhone <3

i suggest a forum section where there is different lounges for different countries for example a american lounge, Australian lounge united kingdom etc etc
where sythe members from those countries can talk about topics relevant to that particular country like politics, news weather surf reports events etc

I didn't really know how to put my idea to words but I hope you understand

    cheers, Jay.

Oh you mean forums for people who speak other languages? Wouldn't mind having it if other members wanted it.

I would support but not that many members would participate and therefore it would be inactive :(

No, that's what I thought he meant too when I read the title, but since Americans, Englishmen and Australians pretty much speak the same language, there is really not any reason to have 3 different sections for that. But his suggestion is that in the Australian forum, people speak about Australia and politics and other stuff relevant to Australia and in the other forums, they speak about things relevant to that country.

I don't really support, as the off-topic section is already pretty inactive, and this would just make it more inactive. Also, I don't really know if there even will be enough interest in posting in these forums.

Oh if it's like that, then a no from me. Not many people would want to talk about politics. I hate it myself. :)

I generally like the concept of the idea, but inactivity is a problem.

    Agreed.

It is a good idea, as there are some things That Aussies can only say too Aussies about, and Americans too Americans, etc.

However, as already stated a few times, activity in these forums would be low.

Maybe a new sub-forum like this will encourage less active members to post and share opinions and thoughts.

    Stop being so negative.
Personally, I wouldn't get anything out of it unless you make a section for Denmark too.

meh, i don't really support, some small countries will probably be left out, and we can't make sections for every one.. plus i can't even see decent activity in the larger ones

This is a good idea. In response to MegaMatt's concern, we could probably have different sections such as South Asian's which would include Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, and etc and Middle Eastern which would be Afghanistan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and etc. Basically, have regional sections.
