WoW or RS?

If WoW costs too much then why don't you play something like Runes of magic?

Its WoW but free.. to put it simply.

I do not care for ethier, but if i had to put it be wow. Rs is gay now pking is shit.

I haven't actually played WoW, but I know it's a decent game.
I prefer it over Runescape, but the fact I can't even get members for RS is a problem.
So my vote goes to runescape, mostly for people who don't have a way of paying for timecards. XD

You guys have to remember that WOW is alot more expensive than Runescape. Membership wise, Game Wise. Etc..

Also i refer Runescape, it's less time consuming and not so complicated

 

We have shown time and time again that rs is FAR FAR more time consuming than wow.

the boxes at the bottom are spells because you see in WoW, you cannot just left click and hope for high hits. It requires skill

 

Having played both RS and World of Warcraft I can honestly say just going off graphics, game play, and customer support World of Warcraft is leaps and bounds better than RS. Blizzard has made it so you can customize your own interface. That being said you have to pay for quality which comes the draw backs of WoW. It costs a whole lot more money to play than RS. On top of that you need to invest in a pretty solid computer to support the game. WoW when you first start can be extremely complicated.

Overall if I had to pick between the two I would definitely go with World of Warcraft.

 

I have played both WoW and RS and I would have to say they appeal to different people... I think more than runescape, WoW is a lot more community and team based, like raids, parties, guilds, arenas, etc, while Runescape can and is mainly played solo, also $15 a month seems to bother many people lol

 

WoW and rs are very different, but similar at the same time. i think that WoW appeals to an older crowd because of the complexity of the entire game. there is much bigger of a world to explore, and the raids are extremely complex, and require a team perfection to complete the hardest Raids. Runescape is also very complex in its skills, there are so many skills and it takes a lot of effort to get them to the highest levels. Personally, I perfer WoW, however, I don't like paying $15 per month, and I have much more respect for higher leveled Runescape players because of the time they have invested into Runescape.

 

I would say wow, but I have a good computer but I did not buy it for gaming so my graphics card is lacking, and it is hard to upgrade graphics card in a laptop. I played wow to level 80 but 25 man raids would lag my computer hard during boss fights.. But overall wow beats out runescape

Wow Playtime: ~30 days between all toons
Runescape Playtime: ~132 days (Including botting and when a friend of mine had account for a summer awhile ago) So maybe 90 days of legit Runescape.. in 6 years

 

WoW in almost every aspect, skilling & gp grinding is just a BIG fail in RS.

But still the RuneScape clanworld (f2p / p2p pvp wars) is very exciting. I've Been hooked to f2p wars since 2005. Tho, the new updates on RS fuck everything up.

Well, quitted RuneScape gameplay still active in ''ClanScape'' lol :laugh:

 

all the runefags say runescape is better because runescape if cheap, or even free if you are f2p. If WoW was cheap/free, i guarantee 80% or more runescapers would switch to wow and like it more than rs.

 

WoW has good graphics, lots of depth and good player- player interaction but is time demanding

Rs you can play more casually but sucks without pking and staking
