why do people buy? you may have hundreds of people who check facebook reguarly sell stuff in a facebook message and people are far more likely to read it and buy it then they would spam emails!

people would pay more then that, if someone is selling a product marketing via spam emails, your lookin at about a 0.02 percent sale rating so for a million emails, you will get about 200 people buying the product.

now if this product is $20 thats $4000

now consider that the conversion rates are higher for facebook!!
